High-Wide CHIRP Performance for Superior Fish Detection
The Airmar TM165C-HW Transducer is designed to maximize underwater coverage and provide unparalleled fish-finding capability. With its high-wide CHIRP technology, this transducer offers an impressive frequency range of 150 kHz to 250 kHz and a super-wide 30° average beamwidth. This ensures broader coverage beneath your vessel, allowing for exceptional detection of fish in the upper water column.
Ideal for anglers and professionals alike, the TM165C-HW enhances bottom detail, improves fish target separation, and provides superior shallow-water performance. Its compact yet high-performance design ensures clear sonar readings even at high speeds, making it a valuable addition to any marine setup.
Advanced Sonar Capabilities and Compatibility
Engineered to deliver optimal performance, the TM165C-HW boasts a 600W power rating and can reach depths of up to 152 meters (500 feet). The transducer’s wide beamwidth significantly increases the coverage area under the boat, offering three times the range compared to traditional high-frequency CHIRP transducers. This feature enhances sonar returns, resulting in crisper, larger images on your display.
Additionally, this transducer includes Airmar’s exclusive Xducer ID® technology, which enables seamless integration with various sonar units. When paired with compatible fishfinders, the transducer automatically sets optimal parameters for precise readings. It is manually compatible with Lowrance HDS Live/ HDS Carbon, Humminbird Helix, Raymarine Axiom Pro, and Simrad EVO 3 sonar systems. Future software updates from sonar manufacturers will further enhance compatibility.
Durable and Versatile Marine Design
The TM165C-HW is constructed for reliable performance in various marine conditions. Featuring a robust plastic transom bracket and hardware, it is recommended for planing hulls made of fiberglass, metal, or wood. The transducer supports installation on boats up to 8 meters (25 feet) in length and accommodates hull deadrises of up to 30°.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
