Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your marine gear. If something is not right, you have 30 days from the day you receive your item to request a return. All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number before you ship anything back to us.

Start a return (RA required)

  • Email cs@qualityboatparts.com or call +1 888 713 2660 to request an RA. Include your order or invoice number and a brief reason for the return.
  • Only items with a valid RA will be accepted. Clearly mark the RA number on the shipping label or on the outside of the box.
  • Once approved, we will email instructions on how and where to send your package. Returns must be shipped prepaid unless we sent the wrong item or the product arrived damaged.
  • Your return must arrive within 21 days of the RA being issued. We do not accept returns after 90 days from the invoice date.

Eligibility

To receive a refund, items must be in the same condition you received them: unused, uninstalled, clean, with tags, and in the original, unaltered packaging. Include all packing materials, manuals, hardware, and any free items or accessories. If you keep a free item, its retail value will be deducted from your refund. We can refund only the original product price. Original shipping and handling are not refundable.

If these conditions are not met, we may refuse the return or apply a restocking fee.

What cannot be returned

  • Custom, made to order, or special order items.
  • Cut to length goods such as rope, line, cable, chain, or hose, and custom rigging.
  • Installed, used, or mounted items, for example propellers that have been installed or hardware showing tool marks.
  • Hazardous materials, chemicals, sealants, paints, resins, adhesives, and similar products once opened.
  • Any item marked on our site as non returnable, clearance, or final sale.

Damaged, incorrect, or defective items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us right away if something is damaged, incorrect, or defective so we can help. For verified issues, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion and we will cover the return shipping.

Items that fail during the manufacturer warranty period will be handled under the applicable warranty policy. Contact us for help and an RA.

Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the credit to appear on your original payment method after approval.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. For the fastest turnaround, purchase the replacement item and submit a return for the original item.

Restocking fees

Restocking fees may apply depending on item condition and manufacturer policy:

  • Minimum 15 percent restocking fee may apply to approved returns that are opened or require reconditioning or repackaging.
  • Up to 30 percent may apply for incomplete returns, missing packaging or accessories, signs of installation or use, or returns outside these guidelines.

Shipping

  • For standard returns such as change of mind or wrong size, you are responsible for return shipping and for packing the item securely to prevent transit damage.
  • If we shipped the wrong item or your order arrived damaged, we will arrange and pay for return shipping.
  • We do not accept COD shipments.

International orders

For international returns, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error. You are responsible for any duties, taxes, or carrier return handling fees.

If an order is returned to us because duties, taxes, or fees were refused or not paid, the carrier return shipping and handling fees, and any re entry customs charges, will be deducted from your refund. This may significantly reduce the refunded amount.

Limits of liability

Quality Boat Parts is not responsible for personal items left in returned merchandise. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages related to the sale or use of any merchandise. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

What to include in the box

  • A copy of the original packing slip or invoice.
  • Your RA number, also marked on the outside of the box or on the label.
  • All accessories, hardware, manuals, and any promotional or free items.
