Overview
The Lumitec 101611 is an inset LED spreader and flood light with Spectrum Halo lighting, built to be sculpted into a hardtop, wheelhouse, or arch for a clean, integrated install. It runs on 10-30 VDC and puts out over 1,200 lumens, giving you working light for the cockpit, aft deck, and other spreader-style mounting locations where you want wide coverage without a bulky fixture.
Spectrum Halo adds a dimmable colored halo around the output, with full WRGB control and a 5000 CCT white channel for a natural-looking work light. TTP and PLI features let it be controlled from a normal on and off switch, and it also works with the Poco Digital Lighting Control System for more detailed lighting control. It carries a 3-year warranty and is made in the USA.

Installation and fit
This light is intended for a molded-in or sculpted installation where the housing sits recessed into the mounting surface. Plan for backside access so you can route the cable, support the fixture, and keep connections protected from spray.
Use the overall depth (4.1 in) as a reality check for tight hardtops and arches, and confirm you have room behind the mounting face before committing to the location. On open boats, choose a spot that avoids direct line-of-sight glare from the helm while still lighting the working area below.
Electrical and system integration
With a 10-30 VDC operating range, it fits both 12V and 24V DC systems without needing a converter. The current draw is modest for its output, but it is still worth planning the circuit so voltage drop stays under control on longer wire runs to hardtops and towers.
TTP and PLI control means the light can be operated using a standard switch, which is useful when you want simple helm control without adding extra panels. For installations that already use Lumitec digital lighting, Poco integration keeps lighting control consistent across zones and scenes.
Use cases on board
This style of inset spreader light makes sense on boats where you want high-output working light but prefer the fixture to visually disappear into the hardtop or arch. It suits anglers setting up lines after dark, cruisers loading gear at the dock, and crews that want functional deck lighting with a controlled color accent at night.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the fixture after saltwater use and keep the lens area clean so output stays consistent. When wiring lives in a hardtop or arch, periodically check that connections remain dry and strain relief is intact, especially after heavy vibration or long offshore runs.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
