Overview
The Garmin 010-11022-10 is a swivel belt clip mount for compatible handheld GPS units in the Dakota series, keeping the device on your belt or gear so it stays easy to grab when you are moving around the boat or heading ashore.
It holds the GPS in a fitted cradle that clips onto a belt, PFD webbing, or a bag strap, so you can check position, waypoints, or tracks without digging through pockets. This is a carry accessory only, with no wiring or power connections.
Key features
- Swivel belt clip design lets the GPS rotate for a more comfortable carry as you move
- Cradle-style holder keeps the handheld GPS seated while clipped to a belt or strap
- Compatible with Garmin Dakota 10 and Dakota 20 handheld GPS units
- Also fits several Garmin handheld families that share the same belt-clip interface, including select Oregon and Colorado models
- Black finish that keeps the setup low-profile on deck or on shore
- No electrical integration required
Compatibility and fit
This clip is intended for Garmin handhelds that use the matching belt-clip cradle interface, including Dakota 10 and Dakota 20. It is also commonly used with certain Oregon and Colorado handheld GPS models that share the same mounting style.
If you are pairing it with a different Garmin handheld outside the Dakota series, verify that your device supports the belt-clip cradle style mount. Some devices use different back-plate systems and may require an additional adapter to interface with this clip.
Installation and setup
Clip the mount to a belt, PFD strap, or pack webbing where the GPS will not snag lines or foul-weather gear. Slide the handheld into the cradle until it is fully seated before heading on deck.
For best retention on a boat, carry the GPS where it stays protected from impacts, and use the handheld’s lanyard attachment if your routine includes spray, pitching, or moving forward on deck.
Use cases on board
This belt clip is a practical match for boaters who carry a handheld Garmin GPS for dinghy trips, shoreline exploration, backup navigation, or marking fishing spots while staying mobile around the cockpit and decks.
Maintenance and care
After exposure to salt spray, rinse the clip with fresh water and let it dry before stowing. Periodically check the clip tension and cradle contact points to make sure the device stays seated during vibration and movement.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
