Overview

The Raymarine HV Series is a range of HyperVision transducers for Raymarine Element HV fishfinder displays, with transom and through-hull options for boats that need CHIRP sonar, DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3D from a matched Raymarine transducer setup.

The range uses 1.2 MHz CHIRP HyperVision, 350 kHz CHIRP, and 200 kHz High CHIRP frequencies. Depending on the sonar channel, it supports RealVision 3D, DownVision, SideVision, and conical high CHIRP sonar, with depth and temperature data available through the transducer.

These plastic transducers suit fiberglass and metal hulls and are rated IPx6 for surfaces exterior to the hull, plus IPx7 and IPx8 protection. The transom option covers deadrise angles from 0 to 90°, while the through-hull options cover deadrise angles from 0 to 25°.

Key features
  • HyperVision sonar range with 1.2 MHz CHIRP, 350 kHz CHIRP, and 200 kHz High CHIRP frequency support.
  • Supports RealVision 3D, DownVision, SideVision, and conical high CHIRP sonar channels on compatible Element HV displays.
  • Plastic construction for use on fiberglass and metal hulls.
  • Records depth and temperature, giving the display useful sonar and water-condition data from one transducer connection.
  • IPx6, IPx7, and IPx8 waterproof ratings help the transducer handle wet bilge, hull, and exterior marine exposure.
  • Transom and through-hull configurations cover different hull layouts, from trailer boats and outboard-powered fishing boats to installations that need a cleaner through-hull setup.
Variants

This product is offered in several mounting and configuration options across the HV Series range.

The main differences are the mounting type and whether the through-hull setup is supplied as a single unit, a matched pair, or an individual port or starboard transducer. The sonar family, plastic construction, and Element HV compatibility remain consistent across the range.

  • A80603: Transom mount, standard configuration. This is the HV-100 transom option for installations where the transducer is mounted externally at the stern, a common layout for many outboard and sterndrive boats.
  • A80604: Through-hull mount, standard configuration. This is the HV-300TH all-in-one through-hull option for boats where a through-hull installation is preferred over a transom bracket.
  • T70448: Through-hull mount, pair configuration. This HV-300THP pair is used where the installation calls for port and starboard through-hull transducers connected as a split setup.
  • R70725: Through-hull mount, port configuration. This is the port-side split through-hull transducer and requires the matching Y cable and extension cable for connection as part of a split-pair setup.
  • R70726: Through-hull mount, starboard configuration. This is the starboard-side split through-hull transducer and requires the matching Y cable and extension cable for connection as part of a split-pair setup.
Installation and setup

For transom mounting, location and height matter because the transducer needs clean water flow across the face while the boat is underway. It is a practical choice when access to the transom is simple and the hull layout allows a clear sonar path without turbulence from strakes, steps, trim tabs, or prop wash.

For through-hull mounting, hull thickness, deadrise, access inside the bilge, and cable routing should be checked before drilling. The through-hull models include a fairing block, and the cable run should be planned so connectors stay protected from strain, standing water, and sharp bends.

Compatibility and fit

The HV Series connects to Raymarine Element HV displays. It is a good match for owners adding or replacing a transducer on an Element HV system and wanting Raymarine HyperVision sonar without mixing third-party transducer hardware.

The transom A80603 uses a 6 m fitted cable. The A80604 through-hull model also uses a 6 m fitted cable, while the port and starboard split through-hull transducers use shorter fitted cables as part of a split-pair installation.

Maintenance and care

Marine growth on a transducer face can quickly reduce sonar performance, especially in saltwater or warm-water berths. Keep the sensing surface clean, avoid harsh solvents, and use water-based antifouling paint when antifouling is needed on exposed transducer surfaces.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
