Overview
The Garmin 010-01550-00 is a GPS fishfinder with a 3.5 in color display (480 x 320) and traditional CHIRP sonar using the included 77/200 kHz 4-pin transducer. It is rated IPX7 for water exposure at the helm and runs on 10 to 20 V DC.
On the water, it lets you mark waypoints where fish are holding, record tracks, and navigate back using the waypoint map. It also includes a flasher view for vertical jigging and an on-screen speed readout to help keep trolling speed consistent.
Key features
- 3.5 in HVGA color display with 480 x 320 resolution
- Included dual-beam CHIRP 77/200 kHz transducer (4-pin) with a 20 ft cable for typical helm-to-transom runs
- 200 W RMS transmit power (1,600 W peak-to-peak) with a maximum rated depth of 1,600 ft in freshwater and 750 ft in saltwater
- Built-in GPS with waypoint map, supporting up to 5,000 waypoints, 50 tracks, and 100 routes
- Sonar history rewind and Smooth Scaling graphics so you can scroll back and mark a spot you passed over
- Built-in flasher view plus speed display for trolling, jigging, and stationary fishing
- 12 V boat wiring with a recommended 3 A fuse; max current draw 1 A within the 10 to 20 V DC input range
- Mounting support for tilt/swivel bracket or flush mounting, with an IPX7-rated housing for spray and washdowns

- Dual-beam 77/200 kHz transducer (4-pin)
- Transom mount and trolling motor mount hardware for the transducer
- Tilt/swivel mounting bracket
- Power cable
- Documentation
Installation and setup
Mount the display where you can see it while running and fishing, and keep it at least 25 cm (9.84 in) from a magnetic compass. If you flush-mount, confirm you have clearance behind the panel for the connectors and cable bend radius.
Power is a straightforward two-wire hookup on most 12 V boats. Protect the circuit with a 3 A fuse, keep connections clean and dry, and route the power lead away from ignition wiring and other high-current conductors when possible. On 24 V systems, use a DC-DC converter to supply clean 12 V power within the 10 to 20 V DC input range.
The included transducer can mount on the transom or a trolling motor. A clean installation with the correct transducer height, solid bracket attachment, and a protected cable route is what makes the sonar perform well at idle and on plane.
Compatibility and fit
This unit uses a 4-pin transducer connection and comes with the matching transducer, mounts, and cable. The on-screen map is a waypoint map that shows your position in relation to saved waypoints and recorded tracks.
Waypoints and routes can be shared between compatible STRIKER and echoMAP devices by connecting the blue (Tx) and brown (Rx) wires in the power cable and enabling user data sharing in the menu. When sharing is not used, those wires can be left disconnected.
Use notes
This is a good match for skiffs, bass boats, small center consoles, and kayaks that have a 12 V accessory battery and want sonar plus GPS marking without moving up to a larger display. Depth performance depends heavily on transducer placement, bottom type, and water conditions, so take the time to dial in the transducer install if you fish offshore or in deeper water.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt spray off the display and transducer after a trip and keep the transducer face free of growth. Periodically check the transducer bracket hardware and cable tie points for loosening from vibration.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
