Overview

The Raymarine RV-300 Series is a range of plastic through-hull RealVision 3D transducers for Axiom+ RV, Axiom Pro, and RVX-1000 sonar systems. These transducers combine high frequency CHIRP fish targeting, DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3D sonar in a low-profile through-hull body, giving boaters a more complete view of fish, structure, bottom shape, and the water around the hull.

The series covers 0°, 12°, and 20° offset configurations, so the transducer can be matched to the hull form rather than installed with a fairing block. The RV-300 unit uses an 8 m extension cable, while the port and starboard split-pair transducers use 2 m extension cables. Each transducer body measures 310.50 mm long, 106.70 mm wide, and 166.00 mm high including the cable bend radius.

For marine installation, the plastic through-hull body is suitable for fiberglass, steel, or aluminum hulls. The housing carries IPx6 protection for exterior hull surfaces, plus IPx7 and IPx8 ratings, and the operating temperature range is -2° C to +55° C.

Key features
  • Plastic through-hull RealVision 3D transducer range for Axiom+ RV, Axiom Pro, and RVX-1000 sonar systems.
  • Combines CHIRP sonar, DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3D channels in one through-hull sonar installation.
  • Built-in AHRS helps stabilize 3D sonar imagery as the boat moves through waves, swell, or turns.
  • Built-in fast response water temperature sensor supports depth and temperature monitoring from the same transducer installation.
  • Offset options include 0°, 12°, and 20° versions for matching common through-hull mounting angles.
  • Low-profile plastic body suits fiberglass, steel, and aluminum hulls and helps reduce drag around the installation point.
  • Sonar range reaches up to 274 m for CHIRP, 183 m for DownVision, and 91 m for SideVision and RealVision 3D.
  • Meets EN 60945:2002 and IEC 28846:1993 standards, with IPx6, IPx7, and IPx8 environmental protection ratings.
Variants

The RV-300 Series is offered in single, port, starboard, and pack configurations. The main differences across the range are the offset angle, the side of the hull the transducer is intended for, and the included cable set.

The 0° option is used for flatter mounting locations and is supplied as a single transducer with an 8 m extension cable. The 12° and 20° options are available as port and starboard transducers with 2 m extension cables, or as complete packs that include the matching pair with an 8 m extension cable and a 2 m Y-cable.

Installation and fit

This series is a good match for powerboats using Raymarine RealVision 3D sonar where a clean through-hull installation is preferred. The near-flush shape helps keep the installation practical for trailered boats and reduces the need for external fairing work when the offset is matched correctly to the hull.

Because the 12° and 20° systems use port and starboard transducers, the installer should confirm the hull deadrise and the correct side before final mounting. The pack versions simplify a paired installation by including the Y-cable needed to bring the port and starboard transducers into the sonar system.

Sonar performance on board

With CHIRP, DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3D in the same product family, these transducers suit fishing, cruising, and general bottom awareness on inboard and outboard boats. The system gives useful detail when checking structure, bait, bottom contour, and fish targets while underway or working an area slowly.

The AHRS-assisted 3D view is especially useful when the boat is moving in real sea conditions, because it helps reduce image distortion caused by pitch, roll, and course changes. That makes the RV-300 Series practical for coastal fishing, offshore runs, and everyday sonar use where the water is rarely flat.

Compatibility notes

The RV-300 Series is intended for Raymarine Axiom+ RV, Axiom Pro, and RVX-1000 sonar systems. It is not the correct choice for Axiom DV or Axiom Pro S units, so the connected display or sonar module should be checked before ordering.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
