Overview
The Raymarine RealVision 3D Transducer Extension Cable is a cable range for extending the run between a Raymarine RealVision 3D transducer and the connected display or sonar system. It is made for RealVision installations where the transducer location at the transom or through-hull position is farther from the helm, electronics box, or MFD than the original transducer cable comfortably allows.
The range covers 3 m, 5 m, and 8 m lengths, matching common cable-routing needs on center consoles, cruisers, fishing boats, and sailboats with longer internal cable paths. Each cable uses a waterproof twist-lock connector at the MFD end and a compatible socket at the transducer end, helping keep the sonar connection secure in areas exposed to spray, bilge moisture, vibration, and regular movement on board.
These extension cables work with Raymarine RV-100 transom-mounted RealVision 3D transducers and RV-200 and RV-300 series through-hull RealVision 3D transducers. For best sonar performance, the cable run should use no more than two extension cables, and split-pair transducer installations should use equal extension lengths on both sides when fitted between the transducers and the Y-cable.
Key features
- Extends Raymarine RealVision 3D transducer cable runs for installations where the display or sonar module is farther from the transducer mounting point.
- Compatible with RV-100 transom-mounted transducers and RV-200 and RV-300 series through-hull RealVision 3D transducers.
- Waterproof twist-lock connector at the MFD end helps keep the connection secure in wet marine spaces.
- Compatible transducer-end socket supports a clean inline extension without cutting or splicing the transducer cable.
- Available in 3 m, 5 m, and 8 m lengths to suit different helm layouts, bilge routes, and transducer locations.
- Supports clean cable routing through consoles, rigging tubes, lockers, and equipment spaces where excess tension on the transducer cable should be avoided.
Variants
This product is offered in three length configurations for different boat layouts and cable-route distances.
The cable length changes between variants, while the RealVision 3D transducer application and connector arrangement remain the same across the range. Use the length that allows a proper service loop and clean routing without leaving the cable under strain.
- A80475, Length 3 m. This shorter extension suits compact helm layouts, transom installations with a nearby display, or routing through a small console where only a modest increase in reach is needed.
- A80476, Length 5 m. This mid-length option works well when the cable must pass through a console, under deck panels, or along a longer internal route before reaching the MFD.
- A80477, Length 8 m. This longer extension is useful for larger boats, through-hull transducer installations, or layouts where the transducer cable has to travel from the bilge or transom area to a helm station farther forward.
Installation and setup
Route the cable where it can be supported and protected from sharp edges, heat, moving steering components, and standing water. A gentle service loop near the display and transducer connection makes future inspection easier and helps avoid strain on the connectors.
Keep the connector faces clean before joining the cable, then lock the connection fully so it stays seated during vibration and pounding in choppy water. Avoid pulling the cable by the connector body when feeding it through rigging spaces.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is intended for Raymarine RealVision 3D transducer systems, including RV-100, RV-200, and RV-300 series transducers. It is not a general-purpose sonar cable, so the existing transducer and display connection type should match the RealVision 3D cable system before ordering.
For split-pair installations, matching the extension length on each transducer side helps keep the final cable lengths equal. That matters when routing through-hull pairs to a Y-cable, especially on boats where the port and starboard cable paths are not naturally the same length.
Use on board
This extension cable is a practical fit for boat owners adding a RealVision 3D transducer, moving an MFD, replacing a poor cable route, or tidying an electronics installation without cutting into the original transducer lead. It is especially useful when the cleanest cable path is longer than the direct route, such as through a console chase, under a cabin sole, or around engine-room obstructions.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
