Overview
The Raymarine Axiom 2 XL is a family of large touchscreen glass bridge multifunction displays for helm stations that need navigation, radar, sonar, video, engine data, and entertainment controls on one screen. It runs LightHouse OS, uses a 6-core processor, has 64 GB of internal solid-state storage, and is offered in 16, 19, 22, and 24 inch screen classes.
Each display uses a Full HD IPS screen, edge-to-edge impact-resistant glass, HydroTough nano-coating, and IPx6/IPx7 waterproofing for above-deck or below-deck installation. The 8 V dc to 32 V dc operating range fits common 12 V and 24 V marine electrical systems, while the 15 A fuse rating gives installers a clear protection requirement.
Key features
- Available in 15.6, 18.5, 21.5, and 24 inch diagonal screen sizes for single-display helms, paired displays, and wider glass bridge layouts.
- 6-core processor and LightHouse OS handle charts, radar, sonar modules, autopilot pages, video, and onboard data from one display.
- IPx6 and IPx7 waterproof ratings support installation above or below decks, including open cockpits and enclosed helm stations.
- HydroTough nano-coated glass repels water, oil, and smudges so touch control stays usable when the screen is wet or handled often.
- Three RayNet Gigabit PoE network ports, NMEA 2000 DeviceNet, HDMI input and output, USB touch input and output, Bluetooth, and dual-band Wi-Fi support a full marine electronics network.
- PoE networking can power up to three compatible PoE devices through the RayNet ports, with a shared 32 W maximum PoE output.
- Works with NMEA 2000 engines and supports advanced integration with Mercury SmartCraft and Yamaha Command Link systems.
- Ambient light sensing adjusts screen brightness for changing daylight and night conditions at the helm.
Variants
This range varies by screen size and package type. Screen options are 16, 19, 22, and 24 inch classes, with actual diagonals ranging from 15.6 inches to 24 inches.
Package choices are Standalone and Kit. The Kit versions add the RCR-SD/USB external card reader, alarm buzzer, and alarm/analog video input cable, while the Standalone versions cover the display package without those kit-only extras.
Electrical and system integration
Axiom 2 XL works with 12 V dc and 24 V dc systems and accepts 8 V dc to 32 V dc at the display. Network planning is straightforward for larger helms: the RayNet Gigabit PoE ports can connect items such as multiple displays, radar, cameras, and sonar modules, while NMEA 2000 DeviceNet connects the display to the vessel network.
HDMI input and USB touch output allow control of a compatible PC or other source from the Axiom touchscreen. HDMI output and USB touch input can drive and control a compatible remote touchscreen monitor, which is useful when the navigation screen needs to be mirrored at another position on the helm.
Installation and fit
The Axiom 2 XL range is built for flush glass bridge installations where screen space, cable access, and rear clearance matter. Overall dimensions vary by size, from 394.9 mm wide on the 16 inch model to 578.40 mm wide on the 24 inch model, and depth including cables is around 175 to 181 mm depending on the display.
External chart storage is handled by a remote card reader, so installations should allow for that accessory or use a Kit package when card-reader and alarm hardware are needed at the helm. The display is supplied with mounting hardware, gasket tape, a network cable, a power/video/audio cable, and a DeviceNet to SeaTalkng adapter cable for typical marine electronics integration.
Use cases on board
This series is a strong match for larger cruisers, premium center consoles, sportfishing boats, and sailing yachts that run more than a basic chartplotter. It makes the most sense when the helm already has, or will be upgraded with, radar, autopilot, sonar modules, cameras, engine data, or entertainment controls.

Maintenance and care
The HydroTough screen coating helps with water, oil, and smudges, but the display should still be rinsed with fresh water after salt spray and cleaned with products that are safe for marine electronics screens. Before cutting the dash, confirm rear clearance, cable routing, and the chosen package type so the display, remote card reader, alarm hardware, and network connections all fit the helm layout.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
