Overview
The Raymarine CPT-S is a low-profile through-hull High CHIRP sonar transducer range for Raymarine Element and Axiom chartplotters. It gives the display a single High CHIRP sonar channel with a 25° conical beam, depth readings up to 900 ft (274 m), and an integrated seawater temperature sensor.
This range is built for boats where a flush through-hull installation is preferred over a transom mount. The low-profile shape avoids the need for a fairing block, which helps keep the installation cleaner below the hull while still supporting performance at speed.
The included 10 m cable gives installers useful routing length for runs from the bilge or hull penetration point back to the helm, electronics locker, or chartplotter location.
Key features
- Single High CHIRP sonar with a 25° conical beam for depth and fish target returns.
- Depth capability up to 900 ft (274 m), suitable for coastal fishing, cruising, and general depth monitoring.
- Integrated seawater temperature sensing for water temperature data on compatible Raymarine displays.
- Low-profile through-hull body that installs without a fairing block.
- Available in urethane and bronze housings to match different installation preferences.
- 0°, 12°, and 20° angled elements help match the transducer to hull deadrise.
- Compatible with Raymarine Element S chartplotters by direct connection.
- Compatible with Axiom Pro S and Axiom 2 Pro S chartplotters using the required adapter cable where applicable.
- Includes a 10 m cable for practical routing through the vessel.
Variants
The CPT-S through-hull range varies by housing material and angled element. Urethane and bronze versions are available, with 0°, 12°, and 20° offsets to suit different hull deadrise ranges.
The 0° versions suit 0° to 5° deadrise, the 12° versions suit 7° to 17° deadrise, and the 20° versions suit 15° to 25° deadrise. Across the range, the core CPT-S sonar function remains single High CHIRP with a 25° conical beam, integrated seawater temperature sensing, up to 900 ft (274 m) depth range, and a 10 m cable.
Installation and setup
This is a through-hull transducer, so installation requires a proper hull opening, sealing, and access inside the boat for the retaining hardware and cable route. The offset angle should be selected to keep the sonar element aimed as close to vertical as possible once the transducer is installed in the hull.
The 10 m cable should be routed away from high-current wiring where practical and protected from chafe in bilges, lockers, and behind panels. As with any through-hull fitting, the sealing surface and final installation should be checked carefully before launch and inspected again after the boat has been in the water.
Compatibility and use on board
The CPT-S range is a good match for boat owners running compatible Raymarine chartplotters who want depth, fishfinder returns, and water temperature from a clean through-hull installation. It fits well on fishing boats, cruising powerboats, and sailboats where a low-profile sensor is preferred below the waterline.
CPT-S transducers support High CHIRP sonar only. They do not add Raymarine HyperVision or DownVision imaging, so boats that need those scanning sonar views should use the appropriate Raymarine transducer family for that system.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
