Overview
This Raymarine transducer Y adapter cable is a compact connection cable for linking compatible Raymarine Axiom DownVision displays with more than one transducer connection path. It is used when an Axiom 7DV or Axiom DV transducer port needs to work with a DownVision transducer and a second compatible Airmar-style transducer connection.
The range covers two connector layouts: 9-pin DV to 9-pin DV and 7-pin embedded transducer connections, and 9-pin DV to 9-pin DV and 8-pin CP370 transducer connections. That distinction matters during refits, especially when keeping an existing transducer while adding or retaining DownVision sonar on the display.
Key features
- Y-cable format connects a single Axiom DV transducer port to two compatible transducer connector paths.
- Supports DownVision CPT-1xx transducer integration with compatible Axiom 7DV setups.
- Variant options cover 7-pin embedded transducer connections or 8-pin CP370-style transducer connections.
- Useful for helm refits where an existing Airmar transducer is being retained with a Raymarine Axiom display.
- Connector-specific selection helps avoid unnecessary transducer replacement when the existing sonar hardware is compatible.
Variants
This product is offered in two configurations, both centered on Raymarine Axiom DV transducer connections.
The main difference is the secondary transducer connector type. One version supports a 7-pin embedded transducer connection, while the other supports an 8-pin CP370-style transducer connection.
- A80486: Ports 9-pin to 9 and 7 pin. This version is used for setups that combine a 9-pin DownVision connection with a 7-pin embedded transducer connection on an Axiom 7DV system.
- A80487: Ports 9-pin to 8 and 7 pin. This version is used for setups that combine a DownVision transducer with a CP370-style transducer connection on an Axiom DV system.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is most relevant for Raymarine Axiom 7DV and Axiom DV installations where the transducer port configuration needs to match existing onboard sonar hardware. Before ordering, confirm the connector style on the display and on each transducer cable, because the 7-pin embedded and 8-pin CP370-style versions are not interchangeable.
Installation and use on board
The cable is typically installed behind the display or inside the helm electronics area, where it can stay protected from strain, water pooling, and abrasion. During installation, route the cable with enough service loop to remove the display for future work, and avoid tight bends near the molded connectors.
It is a practical match for owners upgrading to an Axiom display while keeping compatible transducers already mounted through the hull or on the transom. It is also useful for installers who need to preserve working sonar hardware during a staged electronics refit.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
