Overview

The Garmin 010-13128-00 is a protective cover that snaps over the front of compatible STRIKER fishfinders to keep the display and keys covered when the unit is not in use.

It is made to fit STRIKER 4, STRIKER 4cv, STRIKER 4dv, and the STRIKER 4 Portable Bundle. It is a simple add-on that helps when the boat sits in the sun at the dock, gets trailered often, or takes spray across the console.

Compatibility and fit

This cover is shaped for the STRIKER 4-size housing, so it should sit snugly without wobbling when you are underway or trailering. If you are unsure which unit you have, check the model name on the bezel or in the device information screen and match it to the compatible models listed above.

Installation and day-to-day use

With the fishfinder powered off, press the cover onto the front of the unit until it seats. Remove it by lifting an edge and pulling it away before you operate the fishfinder. It is a good match for boats that leave the display mounted on an open console, smaller center consoles, jon boats, and portable setups that get packed away after each trip.

Maintenance and care

Rinse the cover with fresh water after a salty run and let it dry before storage. If grit or dried salt builds up, clean it off before reinstalling so the cover does not rub against the face of the unit.
