Overview
This Raymarine transducer adapter cable is a connector adapter for using selected legacy or existing transducers with Raymarine Axiom DV displays. It is part of Raymarine’s Axiom DV transducer adapter cable range and is used where the display has a 9-pin DV sonar connection but the transducer connector is a 7-pin or 8-pin style.
The range covers two connection paths: 9-pin DV to 7-pin embedded transducer connections and 9-pin DV to 8-pin CP370 transducer connections. For boat owners updating a helm display while keeping a compatible installed transducer, this adapter helps avoid unnecessary transducer removal, fairing work, or cable rerouting through tight conduits.
Key features
- Connects selected existing transducers to Raymarine Axiom DV displays with a 9-pin DV sonar port.
- Available in 9-pin to 7-pin and 9-pin to 8-pin configurations for different transducer connector setups.
- Supports retrofit work where a compatible transducer is already installed through-hull, in-hull, or transom-mounted.
- Useful during electronics upgrades when the transducer cable path is difficult to access behind panels, bulkheads, or helm stations.
- Plug-style adapter format keeps installation focused on connector compatibility rather than rewiring the sonar circuit.
Variants
This product is offered in two connector configurations for different Raymarine transducer integration needs.
The connector layout is the main difference between the variants. Both variants are for Axiom DV transducer connections, but the transducer-side connector changes between the 7-pin embedded transducer format and the 8-pin CP370 transducer format.
- A80484: Ports 9-pin to 7-pin. This version is used when adapting a compatible 7-pin embedded transducer connection to the 9-pin DV sonar port on an Axiom DV display.
- A80485: Ports 9-pin to 8-pin. This version is used when connecting a compatible CP370 transducer with an 8-pin connector to the 9-pin DV sonar port on an Axiom DV display.
Installation and setup
Before installation, match the existing transducer connector to the variant connector type rather than relying only on the display model. The 9-pin side connects at the Axiom DV sonar port, while the 7-pin or 8-pin side connects to the compatible transducer cable.
As with any sonar cabling on a boat, route the adapter where it will not be pulled tight, pinched behind the helm, or exposed to standing water. Keep the connector area accessible enough for inspection, especially on vessels where electronics are serviced seasonally or removed during refits.
Compatibility and fit
This adapter range is most useful for owners upgrading Raymarine electronics while retaining a compatible transducer already fitted to the hull. It suits practical refit work on fishing boats, cruisers, and sailboats where the transducer itself is still serviceable and the main change is at the display end of the system.
For the best fit, confirm the Axiom display is a DV model with the correct 9-pin transducer connection and confirm whether the existing transducer cable terminates in a 7-pin or 8-pin connector. CP370 transducer installations normally use the 8-pin adapter option.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
