Reliable and Efficient Macerator Pump for Marine Use
Macerator pumps are essential for efficient waste and fluid management on a boat, ensuring smooth operation when it matters most. The Raritan 12V Macerator Pump with Barb Adapter is designed to provide superior reliability and performance. Whether used for emptying holding tanks or draining fish boxes, this pump is built to withstand the harsh marine environment.
With a focus on durability, Raritan has developed a macerator pump that features corrosion-resistant stainless steel bolts, an advanced rubber impeller for extended dry-running capability, and a smart macerator control system to enhance performance and longevity.
Advanced Features for Enhanced Performance
One of the standout innovations in this macerator pump is its proprietary rubber impeller compound, which allows for a longer dry-running time compared to standard macerators. This is crucial in marine environments where forgetting to turn off the pump can lead to rapid damage.
To further improve reliability, the optional Smart Macerator Control (SMC) offers key features such as:
- Dry-run protection – Automatically shuts off the pump when dry-running is detected, preventing burnout.
- Weekly impeller jog – If powered on, the pump will cycle the impeller once a week to prevent it from sticking, ensuring readiness when needed.
Easy Maintenance with Innovative Gate Valve Design
Servicing a macerator pump can be challenging due to space constraints and potential mess. Raritan addresses this with a built-in gate valve (available on select models), which allows users to safely remove the pump without spilling waste from the hose line. This feature minimizes cleanup time and simplifies maintenance.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
