Overview
This Victron Energy wall mount enclosure range is for installing Victron monitoring and control panels on a vertical surface instead of cutting them into a dashboard or electrical panel. The variants cover the Color Control GX, a BMV or MPPT Control panel, and a combined layout that holds a Color Control GX together with a BMV or MPPT Control.
On a boat, that matters when the best viewing position is on a nav station bulkhead, inside an electrical locker, or near a battery monitoring point where there may not be enough panel depth for a flush installation. The listed enclosure footprints run from 130 x 85 x 45 mm for the BMV or MPPT Control version to 245 x 135 x 65 mm for the combined Color Control GX plus BMV or MPPT Control version.
Key features
- Wall-mount enclosure options for Victron Color Control GX, BMV-700 series battery monitors, BMV-702, and MPPT Control panels.
- Three configurations cover a Color Control GX alone, a BMV or MPPT Control alone, or a combined Color Control GX plus BMV or MPPT Control layout.
- Nominal enclosure sizes of 165 x 135 x 65 mm, 130 x 85 x 45 mm, and 245 x 135 x 65 mm help match the enclosure footprint to the available bulkhead or panel space.
- Wall mounting helps move monitoring and control displays out of crowded switch panels while keeping the face of the control accessible.
- Useful for helm stations, nav areas, protected battery monitoring panels, and interior equipment spaces where a flush cutout is not practical.
Variants
This range is offered in three configurations, each built around the Victron display or control panel that needs to be wall mounted.
The supported device configuration and enclosure dimensions change by variant. No electrical compatibility changes are being stated here; the enclosure choice is based on the panel combination and the physical space available for the install.
- ASS050400000: Color Control GX only, 165 x 135 x 65 mm. This version keeps the GX display in its own wall-mounted housing for placement at a helm, nav area, or protected equipment panel.
- ASS050500000: BMV or MPPT Control only, 130 x 85 x 45 mm. This smaller enclosure suits a single round Victron control panel where battery or solar information needs to stay visible without using a large cutout.
- ASS050600000: Color Control GX plus BMV or MPPT Control, 245 x 135 x 65 mm. This larger enclosure puts the GX display and one matching monitoring or control panel together in the same wall-mounted position.
Installation and setup
Plan the location before drilling or cutting so the display face is easy to read and the cable path has enough room behind or below the enclosure. In marine installations, that usually means placing the enclosure away from direct spray, washdown water, and spots where gear can strike the controls.
The enclosure is a mechanical mounting accessory, not an electrical adapter. Keep the wiring, fusing, network connections, and device commissioning aligned with the Victron equipment being installed in the enclosure.
Compatibility and fit
The enclosure should be selected by the Victron control panel being mounted, not by battery voltage or charger size. It does not change whether the connected Victron system is 12 V, 24 V, or another DC architecture; those requirements belong to the display, monitor, solar controller, and the rest of the system.
For refits, check the available wall area, cable entry direction, and clearance for removing the control panel later. A cockpit or deck position may need additional protection if the installation location is exposed to saltwater, UV, or regular washdown.
Use cases on board
These enclosures make sense for boat owners and technicians who want Victron battery, solar, or GX monitoring visible without rebuilding a panel face. They are especially useful around nav stations, helm-adjacent interior panels, engine-room entry areas, and protected service spaces where quick system checks are part of the routine.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
