Overview
The i2Systems LL-101-PRO is a LightLink Pro LED dimming module that lets you control compatible i2Systems Apeiron PRO fixtures from a normally open momentary switch on 9-36V DC systems.
A quick press toggles the lights on and off, and a press-and-hold runs the dimming cycle while the switch is held. On 2- and 3-color capable fixtures, double-click selects color 2 and triple-click selects color 3. After a power loss, it recalls the last intensity and LED color so the lighting returns the way it was set.
The module draws up to 50 mA at 24V DC and provides a low-current dimming output (up to 36V DC, 50 mA), so it is intended for fixture dim/control wiring rather than switching the main lighting load. The unit is fully potted and specified for dry or damp locations, with an operating range of -20 to 50 C and up to 95% non-condensing humidity.
Key features
- Runs on 9-36V DC, which fits typical 12V and 24V boat systems
- Momentary switch control: press for on and off, press-and-hold for dimming (switch not included)
- Tri-color control for compatible fixtures: double-click for color 2, triple-click for color 3
- Non-volatile memory restores the last intensity and LED color after power is restored
- Fully potted module suited to dry or damp mounting areas
- Low-current design: up to 50 mA draw at 24V DC and a dim output rated up to 36V DC, 50 mA
Compatibility and fit
This dimmer module is intended for i2Systems Apeiron PRO fixtures that accept a LightLink dim/control input, including fixtures with 2- and 3-color capability when color selection is needed. It supports 9-36V DC supply, which covers most 12V and 24V installations without needing a separate regulator.
Installation and setup
Mount the module in a serviceable spot where it stays dry or only sees occasional damp air, such as behind a helm panel, inside a cabin overhead, or in a protected console space. A normally open momentary switch is used for control, and additional momentary switches can be wired in parallel to operate the same lighting circuit from more than one location.
Since this is low-level control wiring, keep connections tight and protected from corrosion, and route control leads thoughtfully to avoid electrical noise from high-current runs when possible. Verify that your fixtures are dimmable and that the dim/control lead is landed to the correct input on the lighting circuit.
On-board use
This module is a good match for boats that want simple lighting control without adding a dedicated multi-button keypad. It works well for cabins, salons, pilot houses, and cockpits where you want quick on and off control plus smooth dimming, and it is especially useful on multi-color fixtures where red or a third color is used for night running and watchstanding.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
