Overview

The Raymarine A80614 is a remote SeaTalkNG alarm buzzer that repeats network alarms from compatible instruments, autopilots, AIS receivers, chartplotters, and engine monitoring sources so alerts can be heard away from the main display. It connects to an open SeaTalkNG spur, takes power from the network, and produces an audible alarm rated above 85 dB(A) at 1 meter.

This unit suits boats where alarms need to be heard both on deck and below, especially when the helm display is not always in direct earshot. It is rated IPx6 and IPx7 for wet marine conditions, runs on a nominal 12 V DC SeaTalkNG supply with a 9 to 16 V DC operating range, and draws 25 mA with an LEN of 1 on the network.

Key features
  • Repeats SeaTalkNG alarms and relayed NMEA 2000 alarms from compatible networked devices
  • Connects to any open SeaTalkNG spur and is powered directly by the network, so no separate power feed is needed
  • Audible output above 85 dB(A) at 1 meter for alarm coverage beyond the helm display
  • IPx6 and IPx7 waterproof rating for use in wet onboard locations
  • 9 to 16 V DC operating range with protection up to 32 V DC, 25 mA power draw, and LEN 1
  • No calibration step required once it is connected to the network
Compatibility and fit

The buzzer works on SeaTalkNG networks and can also be used with NMEA 2000 systems through a DeviceNet adapter. It is compatible with Raymarine eS, gS, Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro, Axiom 2 Pro, Axiom XL, and Axiom 2 XL displays, and it also supports alarm output from i70 and i70s instruments.

For boats carrying mixed network data, a compatible chartplotter or an i70 or i70s instrument is needed to relay NMEA 2000 alarms to the buzzer. This matters on installations where engine alerts, AIS warnings, or autopilot alarms need to be repeated in another part of the boat.

Installation and setup

Installation is straightforward: mount the buzzer on a secure surface, route the cable with enough slack to avoid strain on the connector, and plug it into an available SeaTalkNG spur connection. Full support with Raymarine chartplotters requires LightHouse 3.7 or later.

Placement matters more than complexity here. A helm console, wheelhouse bulkhead, or another protected area close enough to be heard clearly is the right kind of location. On open boats or boats that see frequent spray, it is still best mounted away from prolonged direct exposure to rain and salt spray.

These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
