The Simrad 000-13743-001 is a snap-on sun cover for Simrad NSS16 evo3 and NSS16 evo3S 16 inch multifunction displays.

It keeps the display face protected while the boat is parked, trailered, or covered at the dock, helping block direct sun and keeping dust, salt residue, and everyday scuffs off the screen and bezel.

The cover seats over the front of the unit and removes quickly by hand, so it is easy to use between trips without changing your helm setup.

Installation and use

Press the cover onto the display face until it sits evenly around the bezel. Before fitting it, wipe away any grit or dried salt so debris does not get trapped against the screen.

Care and storage

After a salty run, rinse the cover with fresh water and let it dry before stowing. Keeping sand out of the helm area helps prevent fine scratches when the cover is installed and removed.
