Overview
The Jabsco 38245-4192RSP is a 12V Quiet Flush E2 raw water marine toilet with a regular bowl, a soft-close lid, and touch-panel control. It uses a remote rinse pump for sea, river, or lake water, gives you Eco, Normal, and Empty flush modes, and runs on 12V DC with a recommended 25 amp fuse.
This model can be installed on powerboats and sailboats, above or below the waterline, when the rest of the sanitation system is laid out correctly. The base mounts in 90 degree increments, the discharge pump can be rotated 180 degrees, and the discharge port can be set up straight or at 90 degrees, which helps when the head compartment is tight and hose routing needs to go left, right, or aft.
The control panel and control box are IP56-rated, and the Eco cycle uses 1.0 litre of water per flush. That makes this toilet a practical fit for boats where freshwater capacity is limited and where owners want an electric head that is easier to service without pulling apart the whole installation.
Key features
- 12V DC raw water toilet with regular bowl and soft-close lid
- Touch panel with Eco, Normal, and Empty flush modes
- Eco mode uses 1.0 litre per flush, and Normal mode uses 2.0 litres
- IP56-rated touch panel and sealed control box for wet head compartments
- Base rotates in 90 degree increments, and the discharge pump rotates 180 degrees for more flexible hose routing
- 19 mm 3/4 inch inlet connection and 25 mm 1 inch discharge outlet, with a 25 mm to 38 mm adaptor supplied
- Quick-release discharge pump assembly with C-clip access for tool-free service
Compatibility and fit
This version is for boats that use raw water for flushing rather than a pressurized fresh water feed. The toilet bowl inlet takes 19 mm 3/4 inch hose, the standard waste outlet is 25 mm 1 inch, and the supplied adaptor allows a 38 mm 1.5 inch discharge connection where that hose size is already in the boat.
The rinse pump is self-priming up to 1.8 m and uses 19 mm 3/4 inch hose on both inlet and outlet sides, with an inline 40 mesh strainer. For below-waterline installations, vented loops and seacock placement remain part of the system layout, so this toilet is best matched to a properly planned marine sanitation setup with enough room for hose runs and service access.
Installation and setup
The mounting surface needs to be flat, rigid, and strong enough to support both the toilet and the user, with enough clearance around the bowl and under the base for fasteners and later maintenance. The toilet uses three 8 mm stainless mounting bolts or lag bolts.
Service access is one of the stronger points of this model. The discharge pump and hose can be released from the base without tools, which helps on cruising boats, charter boats, and other installations where the toilet is used often and maintenance space is limited.
Use on board
This setup suits boats that want electric flushing without using onboard fresh water for every cycle. It also suits refit projects where the head compartment has awkward hose runs, offset bulkheads, or limited room behind the bowl.
The Empty mode leaves the bowl dry when the boat is moving, which is useful underway or in rougher conditions. For day boats, cruisers, sailboats, and charter vessels, that makes day-to-day use a little cleaner and easier to manage.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team.
