Overview
The Vimar EIKON SLAVE dimmer is a flush-mounted control module that works w:contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}ormer, CFL, and LED lighting loads in a protected interior switch position. Across the range, it supports 40 to 500 W incandescent loads, 40 to 300 VA electronic transformers, 10 to 200 W CFL lamps, and 3 to 200 W LED lamps.
This parent listing covers both 120V 60Hz and 230V 50Hz versions. The body measures 22.3 x 49 x 51 mm, uses click-in fastening, and carries an IP40 rating, so it belongs in a dry interior panel rather than an exposed cockpit, deck, or other washdown area.
For marine refits and new builds, this is the right kind of device when the boat is already using Vimar EIKON switchgear and the lighting circuit is built around the matching MASTER dimmer. It gives you a clean way to keep finish, module size, and electrical fit aligned with the rest of the installation.
Key features
- Works with a compatible Vimar MASTER dimmer with bleeder as part of the dimming circuit.
- Supports 40 to 500 W incandescent lamps, 40 to 300 VA electronic transformers, 10 to 200 W CFL lamps, and 3 to 200 W LED lamps.
- Available in 120V 60Hz and 230V 50Hz versions to match the vessel's AC standard.
- Flush-mounted format with click-in fastening for EIKON device assemblies.
- Thermoplastic body with IP40 protection for protected interior locations.
- Compact 22.3 x 49 x 51 mm size helps when module depth and panel space are tight.
Variants
This product is offered in multiple configurations that change the supply version and the visible finish.
The attributes that vary are power version and color. The load support, mounting format, body size, and IP40 protection stay the same across the range. MASTER dimmer pairing follows the supply version, so the 120V unit belongs on a 120V 60Hz circuit and the 230V units belong on a 230V 50Hz circuit.
- VM20137.120: grey finish, 120V 60Hz. This version matches boats and yachts using 120V 60Hz shore or onboard AC service and keeps the darker EIKON grey appearance.
- VM20137: grey finish, 230V 50Hz. This version is for 230V 50Hz installations where the same grey EIKON look is required across the switch line.
- VM20137.N: silver finish, 230V 50Hz. This is the silver Next version for 230V 50Hz systems and changes the visible finish without changing the device format.
- VM20137.B: white finish, 230V 50Hz. This keeps the same electrical format for 230V 50Hz systems with a white front to suit lighter interior panels.
Compatibility and fit
Check the boat's AC standard first, then match the dimmer to the corresponding MASTER unit in the same voltage family. The 120V model is not interchangeable with the 230V versions, even though the body size and supported lamp types are the same.
This device is flush-mounted and not for Isoset enclosures. It suits protected interior switch locations such as cabins, passageways, saloons, and other dry accommodation spaces where EIKON devices are already specified.
Use on board
This range makes sense for yachts and superyachts that use Vimar EIKON controls for interior lighting and want the dimmer module to match the rest of the switchgear. It is a better fit for finished interior spaces than for engine-room, exterior, or spray-exposed locations.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
