Overview
The Raymarine A80331 is an adapter cable for connecting a CPT-DVS transducer to Raymarine Dragonfly 6 and Dragonfly 7 fishfinder displays. It is a fit-specific sonar accessory for installations where the transducer and display need the correct Dragonfly connection interface.
This adapter belongs in the transducer signal path, so it should be handled like other sonar cabling on board. Route it away from sharp edges, heavy foot traffic, heat sources, and high-current wiring where possible, and make sure the connectors are aligned and fully seated before powering the display.
Key features
- Adapts a compatible CPT-DVS transducer for use with Dragonfly 6 and Dragonfly 7 displays.
- Useful for refits, replacements, and sonar upgrades where the existing transducer connection does not match the display.
- Helps avoid replacing a compatible transducer when only the connection interface needs to be adapted.
- Made for the transducer side of a fishfinder installation, not for radar, power, SeaTalk, NMEA 2000, or Ethernet networking.
- Supports clean rigging when the cable is secured with proper strain relief and routed through protected areas of the boat.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is intended for Raymarine Dragonfly 6 and Dragonfly 7 fishfinder displays used with a compatible CPT-DVS transducer. Before ordering, confirm the display model and the transducer connector already on the boat, especially on older installations or mixed refit systems.
Installation and setup
Install the adapter with the system powered off. Inspect both mating connectors for salt, moisture, bent pins, or debris, then connect without forcing the plug. After installation, secure the cable so vibration and movement at the helm, transom, or cable chase do not load the connector.
Once connected, power up the Dragonfly display and confirm that the transducer is recognized and that sonar returns appear normally in the water. If the display does not show bottom or depth information, recheck connector seating, cable routing, and the selected sonar settings before replacing components.
Use cases on board
This adapter is a practical match for boat owners maintaining a Dragonfly 6 or 7 sonar setup, replacing a damaged display, or reusing a compatible CPT-DVS transducer already mounted on the hull or transom. It is most relevant for small fishing boats, center consoles, runabouts, and trailerable boats where Dragonfly fishfinders are commonly installed.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
