Overview
The Vimar EIKON Series is a range of axial 1P NO push buttons for flush-mounted control points that need a momentary contact in a compact modular format. Across the listed configurations, the switch body is rated 10 A at 250 V, uses a 1-pole normally open action, and supports lighting with the matching LED unit.
The body is made from halogen-free thermoplastic with a matt finish, built-in mounting, and snap-fit fastening. IP40 protection makes it a better fit for protected interior panels than for exposed deck locations, so it works well at helm consoles, cabin switch panels, and enclosed service areas where a flush installation matters.
Key features
- 1-pole normally open push button with momentary operation, rated 10 A at 250 V
- Lightable construction with a replaceable button
- Built-in flush mounting with snap-fit fastening for EIKON modular installations
- Halogen-free thermoplastic body with matt surface and IP40 protection
- Available in grey, silver, and white, with both 1-module and 2-module versions
Variants
This range changes in two ways: finish and module width. It is available in grey, silver, and white, and each finish comes in either a 1-module or 2-module version.
The electrical function stays the same across the listed configurations where it can be confirmed: 1P NO push-button operation, 10 A / 250 V rating, lightable construction, built-in mounting, and IP40 protection. The main fit difference is the front width, so the first check is whether your panel or frame takes a 1-module or 2-module device.
Installation and fit
The 1-module versions are about 22.2 to 22.3 mm wide, 49 mm high, and 44 mm deep. The 2-module versions are about 44.7 mm wide, 49 mm high, and 44 mm deep. That makes module count the key measurement to confirm before ordering, especially when matching an existing EIKON frame or replacing a failed switch in a finished panel.
Because this is a built-in snap-fit device, it suits flush interior installations where the switch sits behind a modular faceplate. On boats, that usually means helm and cabin control panels that stay protected from direct spray and routine washdowns.
Electrical and system integration
This is a normally open momentary control, so the circuit closes only while the button is pressed. That suits command functions such as signaling, relay input, or other panel tasks where a maintained contact is not required. Before replacing another switch type, check that the circuit is intended for push-button operation and that the panel layout matches the module width you need.
Use on board
This range makes sense for boat owners, refit yards, and marine electricians already working with Vimar EIKON modular panels and wanting the same look across interior switch positions. It is also a straightforward replacement when the job calls for a lightable momentary push button in either a 1-module or 2-module layout.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
