Overview
The Vimar Plana Series is a TV-RD-SAT outlet range for coaxial TV and satellite distribution from 5 to 2400 MHz. These outlets use a male connector and come in single-connection and through-line versions, so the layout can match either a terminal point or an in-line coax run on board.
For a boat with TV or satellite feeds in the saloon, cabins, or other protected interior spaces, the key difference is how the coax line is arranged. Single-connection versions have 1 dB connection attenuation and allow DC and control signal pass-through up to 24 V, 500 mA. Through-line versions have 10 dB connection attenuation and are used where the cable continues to the next outlet.
Key features
- 5-2400 MHz coaxial TV-RD-SAT outlet for TV and satellite signal distribution
- Single-connection versions support DC and control signal pass-through up to 24 V, 500 mA
- Through-line versions have 10 dB connection attenuation, with through loss of 2.20 dB at 860 MHz and 3.40 dB at 2150 MHz
- Male connector and snap mounting for integration into compatible Plana device installations
- Plastic body with lacquered finish, available in white, silver, and antibacterial white depending on variant
Variants
This product is offered in multiple configurations to match different outlet layouts and finish requirements.
Across the range, the outlet type stays the same: a 5-2400 MHz TV-RD-SAT coaxial outlet with one outlet, a male connector, and snap mounting. What changes between variants is the finish and whether the port is set up as a single connection or a through-line connection.
- VM14300.01.SL: Silver finish with coaxial single connection. This version suits a terminal outlet point and allows DC and control signal pass-through up to 24 V, 500 mA.
- VM14300.01: White finish with coaxial single connection. It fits the same terminal outlet layout where remote-powered satellite equipment may need DC and control signal pass-through.
- VM14300.10.SL: Silver finish with coaxial through-line connection. This layout is used where the coax cable continues to the next outlet, and it does not pass remote power.
- VM14300.10: White finish with coaxial through-line connection. It fits the same in-line distribution layout for coax runs that continue beyond this point.
- VM14300.AB.01: White finish with antibacterial treatment and coaxial single connection. It keeps the same terminal outlet layout while adding an antibacterial surface option for spaces where touch hygiene matters more.
Installation and setup
Before ordering, confirm whether this outlet will sit at the end of the coax run or in the middle of a continued line. That choice affects attenuation and remote-power behavior more than finish does. Snap mounting helps during panel assembly, but it is still worth checking clearance behind the wall or console and matching the outlet with the correct Plana support and cover components already used on the boat.
Compatibility and fit
This range is a good match for boats that already use the Vimar Plana wiring device system and need a coax outlet that blends with the rest of the interior electrical hardware. It makes the most sense in enclosed areas such as cabins, saloons, and similar protected spaces where TV or satellite distribution is part of the onboard setup.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
