Overview
The Garmin 010-11966-00 is a tilt and swivel mounting bracket for compatible 5-inch echoMAP and GPSMAP displays, giving you a secure surface mount at the helm with an adjustable viewing angle.
It is used with echoMAP 50dv and echoMAP 50s units, along with GPSMAP 5x7 models such as GPSMAP 527, 527xs, 547, and 547xs. On a boat, the ability to change the angle matters when you move between sitting and standing, share the screen with a co-pilot, or need to reduce glare as the sun shifts.
Key features
- Tilt and swivel adjustment so the screen can be aimed toward your driving position.
- Compatible with Garmin echoMAP 50dv and echoMAP 50s.
- Compatible with Garmin GPSMAP 5x7 units including GPSMAP 527, 527xs, 547, and 547xs.
- Surface-mount style for mounting on a dash, console top, electronics box, or other flat location.
- Hand knobs let you loosen, set the angle, and lock it back down without tools.
Installation and setup
Before drilling, hold the bracket in place and check clearance for the unit to tilt through its range without hitting a windshield frame, grab rail, or console lip. Plan cable routing so power and transducer leads have enough slack to move with the display, and so they do not rub on sharp edges or get pinched when the unit is tilted.
For fiberglass or cored panels, sealing the fastener holes helps keep moisture out of the structure. After the first few runs, especially if the boat sees chop and vibration, recheck fasteners and the knob tension so the display stays where you set it.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm your chartplotter model matches the compatibility list above before ordering. If your unit is currently flush-mounted, verify you have the correct mounting points and hardware for a bracket installation at the new location.
Use on board
This bracket is a practical match for smaller helms where a 5-inch screen is mounted on top of the console, as well as for a second station where you want quick angle changes without reworking the dash. It also works well when the display needs to be shared between the helm seat and a standing operator during docking or slow-speed maneuvering.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt spray off the bracket and knobs with fresh water and wipe it down periodically to keep adjustment smooth. If the mounting surface flexes or the boat is trailered often, inspect the fasteners as part of routine checks.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
