Overview

The Vimar 4.3 Full Flat touch screen is a flush-mounted operating panel for Vimar By-me automation, with a 4.3 inch TFT LCD display, touch control, one input for a temperature sensor, and IP40 protection. It is supplied as a replacement screen module with the mounting frame for 8-module boxes, and the cover plate is separate.

In a boat interior, it fits best where the panel stays dry and protected while still giving quick access to onboard control pages. It can be configured to supervise and control lighting, shutters, climate, scenes, alarm functions, and load management when those functions are already present in the installation.

Across the listed versions, the screen format, touch operation, flush-mounted installation, mounting frame, temperature-sensor input, and cover-plate compatibility remain the same. The visible difference between variants is the front color.

• VMR21511.1: Grey. This keeps the installation aligned with grey trim and darker switchgear nearby.
• VMR21511.1.BN: Silver. This gives the screen a lighter neutral look where metallic or pale interior finishes are already in use.
• VMR21511.1.B: White. This blends more easily with white bulkheads, liners, and other light interior panels.

Compatibility and fit

This screen belongs to the By-me range, so it should be matched with a Vimar By-me installation rather than treated as a KNX panel or a marine navigation display. The flush-mounted format also means you need the correct 8-module box and one of the compatible cover-plate families already planned for the area.

For marine use, it suits saloons, cabins, passages, and enclosed helm spaces more naturally than open cockpit, flybridge, or deck positions. IP40 is suitable for protected interior mounting points, not for direct spray, washdowns, or constant exposure to damp conditions.
