Overview

The Garmin 010-12439-01 is a tilt/swivel bail mount for compatible Garmin STRIKER and ECHOMAP UHD2 displays. It fastens to a flat surface on your helm and holds the display in a bracket so you can tilt the screen and swivel the base to match your viewing position while underway.

This mount is a direct fit for STRIKER 5dv, 7dv, and 7sv units, and it also fits STRIKER 5cv and 7cv models plus STRIKER Vivid 5cv, 7cv, and 7sv. It is also used with ECHOMAP UHD2 5-inch models and ECHOMAP UHD2 7-inch cv models, and it is not compatible with ECHOMAP UHD2 7-inch sv units.

Installation and setup

Plan the mounting spot so the display can tilt fully without hitting the dash, windshield frame, or steering wheel, and leave room behind the unit for power and transducer cables to bend without kinking. A backing plate is a good idea on thinner fiberglass or plastic panels to spread load and reduce flex when the boat is running in chop.

After fastening the base, set the viewing angle and snug the adjustment points so the unit stays put but can still be repositioned by hand. If the mount is installed where spray and washdowns are common, sealing fastener holes helps keep water out of the core and electronics space behind the console.

Compatibility and fit

Confirm your display model name on the bezel or in the unit settings before ordering, since mounts are not interchangeable across all Garmin screen families. This part is intended for the STRIKER 5-inch and 7-inch families listed above and for ECHOMAP UHD2 5-inch and 7-inch cv models, and it is not the correct mount for ECHOMAP UHD2 7-inch sv units.

Use on board

This mount suits boats where you want the display on top of the dash, console, or a vertical surface and need to change the angle for glare, helm height, or different operators. It is a practical match for center consoles, tiller setups, and small cabins where the screen position needs to stay adjustable as you move around the cockpit.

Maintenance and care

Rinse with fresh water after saltwater runs and check mounting fasteners occasionally, especially after trailering or long days in rough water. Keeping cable runs supported near the back of the display helps prevent connector strain over time.
