Overview
The Raymarine R70525 is a 7-inch trunnion mount suncover for Raymarine Axiom 7 non-Pro multifunction displays. It fits the display when the unit is mounted on a trunnion bracket, helping protect the screen face while the helm is not in use.
This cover is meant for the common bracket-mounted setup found at consoles, flybridges, cockpits, and dash areas where the display is exposed to sun, spray, dock dust, and day-to-day handling. It is a cover only, not a mounting kit, and it should be matched to the correct Axiom 7 mounting style before ordering.
Key features
- Fits Raymarine Axiom 7 non-Pro displays in a trunnion mounted installation.
- Made for the 7-inch trunnion mount configuration, not the surface mount or front mount suncover versions.
- Helps shield the display screen from UV exposure when the electronics are not being used.
- Useful for helm stations, cockpit displays, flybridge electronics, and other exposed onboard mounting locations.
- Lightweight accessory with listed package dimensions of 1 in H x 6 in W x 9 in L and a listed weight of 0.25 lb.
Compatibility and fit
This suncover should be used with an Axiom 7 non-Pro display when the display is installed on a trunnion bracket. Raymarine uses different covers for different display sizes and mounting methods, so a 7-inch bracket-mounted display needs this trunnion mount version rather than a surface mount cover.
Before replacing a lost or damaged cover, check the display size and how the unit is mounted. This part is not intended for Axiom Pro displays, larger Axiom screen sizes, or installations that require a different style of cover.
Installation and use
The cover slips over the display face when the electronics are powered down or the boat is sitting between trips. It is a practical add-on for protecting the screen at the dock, on the trailer, or during storage periods when the helm is exposed.
For running at high speed or trailering the vessel, remove and stow the cover so it cannot loosen or be lost in wind. Keeping it inside a console compartment or electronics bag between uses also helps prevent scratches and keeps the cover easy to find before the boat is put away.
Care on board
Rinse salt and grit from the cover before wiping it down, especially after fishing trips or longer coastal runs. A quick fresh-water rinse helps reduce abrasive buildup that can transfer to the display face the next time the cover is fitted.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
