Overview

The B&G 000-14956-002 is a Triton2 instrument pack that brings wind, speed, depth, and water temperature onto an NMEA 2000 network with a matching display and sensors for a typical sailboat installation.

At the helm, the Triton2 color display uses a 4.1 inch transflective, optically bonded screen (320 x 240) and is rated IPX7 for exposed mounting. Wind data comes from the WS320 wireless masthead sensor through the included WS320 wireless interface, and speed and depth come from the DST810 smart thru-hull transducer.

The DST810 reports depth at 235 kHz and delivers 5 Hz speed-through-water updates, with depth support up to 100 m on NMEA 2000. Both the WS320 interface and DST810 run on the NMEA 2000 power range (9 to 16 V DC), so the system fits cleanly into standard 12 V onboard power setups.

Key features
  • Triton2 4.1 inch color display with an optically bonded, transflective LCD for strong sunlight readability and a 320 x 240 resolution
  • IPX7-rated display and IPX7-rated WS320 wireless interface for helm and deck mounting where spray and washdowns are expected
  • WS320 wireless wind sensor with wind angle accuracy < 1 degree and wind speed accuracy < 0.2 kt or 5%
  • DST810 smart transducer with depth, speed, and temperature data plus heel and trim sensing for richer instrument data on the network
  • 5 Hz speed output and a speed range up to 45 knots for smoother speed-through-water changes on screen
  • NMEA 2000 backbone starter kit with Micro-C cabling and terminators to build a small network or expand an existing one
What's included
  • Triton2 digital display (000-13294-001)
  • Suncover and Triton2 install kit
  • Micro-C drop cable (2 ft) and Micro-C T-connector for the display
  • WS320 wireless interface (000-14388-001)
  • WS320 wireless wind sensor (000-14390-001)
  • DST810 depth/speed/temp smart transducer, plastic housing (000-15735-001) with a 6 m DeviceNet (NMEA 2000) cable
  • NMEA 2000 Micro-C backbone starter kit (000-10760-001) including T-connectors, power lead, male and female terminators, and a 15 ft backbone extension cable
Installation and setup

The Triton2 display is a front-mount panel instrument, so it is commonly placed in the cockpit, at the nav station, or on a pedestal pod where it can be viewed while trimming and steering. It connects to the NMEA 2000 backbone with a single network drop for both power and data.

The DST810 is a thru-hull sensor, so hull access and correct sealing are part of the job. It supports hull deadrise up to 22 degrees, and its NMEA 2000 cable runs back to a T-connector on the backbone. The WS320 wind sensor mounts at the masthead, and the included WS320 wireless interface is typically installed lower in the boat where it can be powered and tied into the NMEA 2000 network.

Compatibility and system integration

This pack is built around NMEA 2000, so the wind, speed, depth, temperature, and attitude data can be shared with other NMEA 2000 devices on board. With additional sources on the network, the display can also show items like heading, GPS data, AIS targets, and autopilot status, keeping key sailing information in one place without adding extra screens.

Use on board

This setup fits well on cruising boats and club race boats that want a dedicated instrument display with wireless wind at the masthead and a single thru-hull for speed and depth. It also suits refits where you want current wind data without running a new cable through the mast.

Maintenance and care

For best readings, keep the DST810 paddlewheel area clear of growth and debris, especially if the boat sits in the water for long periods. The WS320 wind sensor uses an internal battery with smart rechargeable power management, so plan for periodic charging and a quick inspection of the masthead mount during routine rig checks.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
