Overview
The Vimar Plana Series is a 1-module flush-mounted socket with three RCA connectors for analog audio and video connections within a Plana modular installation. It uses screw terminals, thermoplastic construction, and a halogen-free body, with IP20 protection for spaces that stay dry and covered.
This is the kind of insert used when a cabin media panel or interior bulkhead needs a fixed connection point instead of loose RCA leads. The front size is 22.30 mm wide by 49.00 mm high, and the two finish options let it sit neatly with white or silver Plana trim.
Key features
- Three RCA connectors in one 1-module insert for fixed analog audio and video terminations
- Flush-mounted body with screw terminals for panel installation
- Thermoplastic housing that is halogen-free
- IP20 protection for interior spaces that stay dry and covered
- 22.30 mm width and 49.00 mm height across the range, with depth that varies by finish
Variants
This product is offered in two finish options within the same Plana three-RCA format.
Across both versions, the connection layout, screw-terminal wiring, flush-mounted installation, and 1-module format stay the same. Width and height remain 22.30 mm and 49.00 mm, while depth changes slightly between finishes.
- VM14335: White, glossy untreated finish, RAL 9003, 35.50 mm depth. It blends into installations that already use white Plana plates and trim.
- VM14335.SL: Silver, glossy lacquered finish, RAL 9006, 33.90 mm depth. It suits interiors that use silver Plana trim or a cooler-toned panel finish.
Compatibility and fit
This insert is made for Vimar Plana modular plates and mounting arrangements that accept a 1-module device. On board, it makes the most sense in enclosed interior locations such as cabin entertainment areas, nav stations, or other protected panels where RCA lines need a clean finished outlet.
Because the face has no dust cover or hinged lid and the protection level is IP20, it is better kept away from spray, washdowns, and open deck exposure. It is a sensible fit for refit work and new interior installations that already use the Plana range.
Installation and setup
Installation is straightforward when the panel already uses the Plana system and there is room for the module depth. The white version is 35.50 mm deep, while the silver version is 33.90 mm deep, so it is worth checking clearance behind the panel before the box is closed up.
The screw-terminal layout suits fixed wiring rather than loose patch leads hidden behind a panel. That gives you a tidy outlet face at the front and serviceable terminations at the rear.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
