Overview
The Raymarine E70483 is an Axiom Pro 16S multifunction display with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen, built-in single-channel High CHIRP sonar, HybridTouch control, and no transducer or chart card included.
This display fits boats where a large helm screen is needed for chartplotting, sonar, radar, AIS, autopilot control, cameras, and engine or vessel data. The 1920 x 1080 optically bonded display has 1,200 nits of brightness, so charts and data remain readable at an exposed console, flybridge, or pilothouse station.
It supports 12V and 24V DC systems with an 8V to 32V DC input range, and it connects into modern marine electronics through NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, RayNet Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and analog video input. The housing carries IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings for helm locations that see spray, rain, and regular washdowns.
Key features
- 15.6-inch IPS optically bonded LCD with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and 1,200-nit brightness for use at exposed helm stations.
- HybridTouch interface gives touchscreen control plus keypad operation when the boat is moving or conditions make touch-only control less convenient.
- Built-in single-channel High CHIRP sonar supports depth and bottom detail when paired with a compatible transducer and the required adapter where applicable.
- Quad-core processor supports fast chart redraws, split-screen pages, radar overlay, sonar views, and system data pages.
- NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity allows integration with compatible AIS, autopilot, instrument, and engine data systems.
- Two RayNet Ethernet ports support compatible Raymarine radar, additional displays, IP cameras, sonar modules, and networked accessories.
- Built-in GNSS receiver supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou with 72-channel tracking at 10 Hz.
- IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings suit cockpit, center console, pilothouse, and flybridge installations exposed to spray and rain.
- Front-access microSD card slots support chart cards, software updates, and data transfer without reaching behind the helm.
Installation and setup
The Axiom Pro 16S can be surface mounted, flush mounted, or bracket mounted depending on the helm layout. Its flush-mounted dimensions are 452 mm wide by 258 mm high by 69 mm deep, with additional clearance needed behind the unit for cables and service access.
Because this version is supplied without a transducer and without charts, it is a practical fit for owners who already have compatible cartography, are matching the display to a specific transducer, or are building a larger Raymarine network around radar, autopilot, sonar, cameras, and vessel data.
Electrical and system integration
The 8V to 32V DC input range allows installation on 12V or 24V boats, including many center consoles, sportfish boats, cruisers, and sailing yachts. Network planning matters with a display of this size: allow space for the power, video, NMEA 0183, RayNet, DeviceNet, USB, transducer, and accessory connections before cutting the panel.
For networked electronics, the unit can share data through NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, and RayNet. This makes it suitable as a main helm display or as part of a multi-display setup with compatible Raymarine radar, Evolution autopilot, AIS, sonar modules, and cameras.
Use cases on board
This MFD is a strong match for larger helm stations where the operator wants chart, radar, sonar, AIS, and system data visible on one screen. Fishing boats can use the CHIRP sonar capability with a compatible transducer, while cruisers and sailboats can use the display for routes, radar overlay, autopilot control, laylines, and instrument dashboards.
The keypad and rotary controls are useful on offshore runs, in rain, or when the boat is moving enough that touch-only control becomes less precise. At the dock, Wi-Fi and front microSD access make updates and chart management easier without dismantling the helm.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
