Overview
The Raymarine 33STV is a 33 cm satellite TV antenna system for small powerboats and sailboats that need onboard entertainment without taking up much deck or hardtop space. The radome measures 37 cm in diameter and 38 cm high, with a 33 cm reflector and a system weight of about 4.5 kg at the antenna, making it a practical fit for boats around 6 to 7.6 m where space and weight matter.
This system works on 9 to 30V DC power, so it suits common 12V and 24V onboard electrical systems. It receives Ku-band satellite TV signals from 10.7 to 12.75 GHz, uses vertical and horizontal polarization, and has dual RF output for installations that may feed more than one receiver setup. The IPX6 water-ingress rating supports exposed marine mounting where spray and washdowns are part of normal use.
With an elevation range of 10 to 80 degrees, 680 degrees of azimuth range, DVB-S2 signal identification, and a 60 degree per second turning rate, the 33STV is built to keep tracking while the boat is moving. It is a good match for coastal cruising, weekend fishing, and dockside use where satellite TV coverage is available in the selected service region.
Key features
- 33 cm reflector in a compact 37 cm radome for smaller boats with limited mounting space.
- 9 to 30V DC power input supports typical 12V and 24V marine electrical systems.
- IPX6 water-ingress rating for installation in exposed locations subject to spray and washdowns.
- Ku-band reception from 10.7 to 12.75 GHz with vertical and horizontal polarization.
- Dual RF output allows more flexible receiver installation than a single-output antenna.
- 10 to 80 degree elevation range helps maintain service across a wider cruising area.
- Dynamic Beam Tilting helps the antenna hold the signal while the vessel rolls and pitches.
- Built-in NMEA 0183 GPS interface supports position input for satellite tracking setup.
Variants
The Raymarine 33STV is offered in regional configurations so the antenna system matches the satellite TV service area used on board.
The main difference between variants is the regional service configuration. The physical antenna size, voltage range, IPX6 rating, Ku-band reception range, and ACU specifications remain part of the 33STV platform.
- E70453: Region North America, Direct TV Latin America, and Caribbean. This configuration suits boats operating with compatible satellite TV service in North America, Latin America, or the Caribbean.
- E70454: Region Sky Brazil, Europe, and Mexico. This configuration covers installations tied to compatible service areas in Brazil, Europe, or Mexico.
- E70455: Region New Zealand. This configuration is for boats using the 33STV system within the New Zealand service region.
Installation and setup
The antenna connects to the antenna control unit with a single RF cable, which keeps the main run between the radome and the interior electronics straightforward. The ACU is the control point for setup and tracking, and its compact size makes it easier to place near the receiver equipment at the navigation station, entertainment cabinet, or another protected area inside the boat.
Mount the radome where it has a clear view of the sky and is not blocked by masts, arches, radar scanners, or other hardtop equipment. Satellite TV antennas need open sky exposure, so placement matters as much as the hardware itself, especially on smaller boats where antennas, lights, and electronics often share the same mounting area.
Electrical and system integration
The 9 to 30V DC power range gives installers flexibility on both 12V and 24V vessels. Typical power consumption is 30W, with a maximum of 50W, so the circuit should be planned with proper marine wiring practice and protection for the cable length and onboard supply.
The ACU includes a 2 line, 20 character VFD display and a built-in NMEA 0183 GPS interface. The system supports ship motion of roll up to plus or minus 25 degrees and pitch up to plus or minus 15 degrees, which is useful for cruising boats that still need stable viewing while moving through chop or moderate sea conditions.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
