Overview
The Garmin 010-12100-12 is a zumo Socket Arm Mount kit that secures a compatible zumo navigator on an AMPS-style mount and a 1-inch ball-and-socket arm for easy positioning at the helm.
The short, metal double-socket arm measures 1.75 in from socket center to socket center (2.38 in overall) and tightens with a side screw, so you can set the viewing angle and lock it down when the boat is moving. The included cable has bare power, audio, and data wires, which suits a clean hardwired install when you want to run wiring through a dash, console, or electronics box.
Key features
- Snap-in mount supports portrait or landscape orientation for a compatible zumo navigator.
- AMPS-style mounting interface for pairing with common dash plates and brackets.
- Short metal double-socket arm clamps to 1-inch ball bases and adjusts with a side tightening screw.
- Arm length: 1.75 in center-to-center (2.38 in overall) for a low-profile install near the wheel, grab rail, or console face.
- Cable included with bare power, audio, and data wires for hardwiring and tidy cable routing.

Installation and setup
Mount the AMPS interface to a solid surface such as a helm dash panel, electronics pod, or a bracket fastened to the console. On boats, seal any new fastener holes and use backing where needed to prevent flex and cracking. Set the arm tension so the unit stays put under vibration but can still be repositioned when you are setting up a route at the dock.
Compatibility and fit
This mount is intended for compatible Garmin zumo navigators that use the matching snap-in cradle style. If you are mixing components from an existing ball system, confirm you are using 1-inch ball parts so the sockets clamp correctly and hold their angle under motion.
Wiring notes
The cable is supplied with bare leads, which is helpful for routing through a console and terminating inside a dry area. Use marine-grade heat-shrink connectors, provide strain relief, and cap any unused audio or data leads so they cannot wick moisture. Keep splices and connectors away from direct spray and rinse-down zones when possible.
Use on board
This setup is a good match for skippers who run a zumo as a secondary navigator on a small helm, a tender, or a personal watercraft where space is tight and vibration is constant. It also works well when you want the screen close enough to read while standing, without a long arm that can swing or drift out of position.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
