Overview

The Lumishore ECLIPSE Expansion Module is a 12V DC lighting control add-on for expanding a Lumishore ECLIPSE Command Center by 1 or 2 lighting zones. It is used when a boat has more lighting areas than the base Command Center can manage, such as separating underwater lights, cockpit lighting, cabin accents, or deck lighting into their own controls.

The module is IP67-rated and runs on 12V DC only, with a 10-15V DC supply range and a 10A maximum per zone. With supported expansion module combinations, an ECLIPSE lighting system can be built out to as many as 6 independent lighting zones.

Variants

The ECLIPSE Expansion Module range is offered in 1-zone and 2-zone configurations for adding lighting areas to the same ECLIPSE control system.

Both variants share the same 12V DC supply range, IP67 rating, housing size without cable glands, control options, and compatibility with ECLIPSE above-water and underwater lights. The practical difference is the number of additional zones and total current capacity.

• 60-0496: 1-zone expansion module. This version adds 1 extra zone to an ECLIPSE Command Center, bringing the system to 4 zones when fitted to the base Command Center, with 10A available for the added zone.
• 60-0497: 2-zone expansion module. This version adds 2 extra zones to an ECLIPSE Command Center, bringing the system to 5 zones when fitted to the base Command Center, with 10A available per added zone and 20A total across the two added zones.

Compatibility and control

This module works with the Lumishore ECLIPSE Command Center and ECLIPSE above-water and underwater lights. Control can be handled through a switch input, WiFi control from a smart device, or a certified multifunction display, so the module fits systems controlled locally at the helm or from an onboard screen.

Zone control supports dimming, color selection, strobe, and sound-to-light functions. Sound-to-light operation applies to RGBW lights only, which matters when matching the module to existing fixtures.

Installation and electrical notes

The module uses a plug-and-play setup for adding extra zone outputs to the ECLIPSE system. It should be installed as part of a 12V DC lighting system, with load planning based on the 10A maximum per zone and up to 16 lights per zone when total current draw stays within that limit.

The housing measures 116 mm x 84 mm x 39 mm without cable glands and weighs 265 g. The IP67-rated ABS construction is flame-retardant and halogen-free, and the electronics include surge protection, low-voltage protection, reverse-polarity protection, and ISO 8846 ignition protection for demanding boat installations.

Use cases on board

This expansion module suits boats that need lighting separated by area or function, such as underwater lights on one zone and cockpit, deck, cabin, or courtesy lighting on separate zones. It is a practical fit for refits where the ECLIPSE Command Center is already in place and the boat owner wants more control without replacing the core lighting controller.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
