Overview

The Vimar VMR20541 is a 3-module control device with three rocker push buttons for Vimar EIKON and By-me Plus installations, commonly found on modern yachts and cruisers that use distributed switching and scene control. It runs on a BUS 29 V supply and has a 16 mA input draw, so it is used as a low-voltage bus control point rather than a stand-alone mains switching device.

The mechanism is completed with compatible 1-module or 2-module interchangeable buttons, letting the same unit be arranged as three single buttons or as one double plus one single, depending on the button set installed. The body is halogen-free thermoplastic with a grey surface that has a matte finish, and the device is rated IP40 for protected interior locations.

On board, it is a practical way to put several commands in one spot, such as lighting on/off, dimming control, roller shutter commands, and scenario activation once it is configured in the system.

Key features
  • Three rocker push buttons in a 3-module format for Vimar EIKON systems
  • BUS 29 V rated supply voltage with 16 mA input draw
  • Can be configured as three single buttons or one double plus one single (depends on the interchangeable button set)
  • Supports functions such as on/off switching, dimmer control, roller shutter control, and scenario activation when programmed in the system
  • TP BUS terminals for connection to the compatible control unit and network
  • Flush-mount device with snap fastening for clean installs behind the chosen frame and cover plate
  • IP40 protection for interior areas away from spray, washdowns, and direct weather exposure
Compatibility and fit

This device is used with By-me control units, including flush and surface mounting control units (release 2.0 and later) and By-me 2-module control units (release 2.0 and later). It connects on TP BUS terminals, so it fits into systems that already have the matching bus infrastructure in place.

Physical size is 67.30 mm wide, 49.00 mm high, and 46.60 mm deep. It occupies three modules in the Vimar modular system, so it should be matched to a box, frame, and cover plate that accept a 3-module device.

Installation and setup

Mounting is flush with a snap fastening style. Plan for the device depth in the wall or panel location, and keep the installation in a dry, sheltered interior area such as cabins, salons, or protected helm console panels.

Configuration is handled through the system setup, and the unit includes an LED indicator used during configuration and operation feedback. If the front buttons need to be removed for configuration access, that is normal for this style of mechanism.

Electrical and system integration

Because it is a BUS 29 V device, it typically triggers commands on the automation network rather than switching a load directly. Loads such as lights, dimmers, and blinds are controlled through the compatible By-me modules already installed in the system.

Use on board

This is a good match for refits or new builds that are standardizing on Vimar EIKON and By-me Plus for cabin lighting groups, scene control, and window shade or blind commands. It also helps when you want three independent control points at one location without adding multiple separate modules.

Maintenance and care

Keep the unit in an interior location and avoid moisture exposure beyond typical cabin humidity. Clean the visible surfaces with a soft cloth and mild cleaner, and avoid solvents that can haze or soften thermoplastic finishes.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
