Overview
The Vimar VM20607 is a 2-module mounting frame for square British Standard (BS) mounting boxes in the EIKON series. Overall dimensions are 8.2 x 8.2 x 1.5 cm, and the frame weighs 0.037 kg.
It gives you a solid base for fitting EIKON modular devices behind a cover plate, with a honeycomb structure that keeps the frame stiff. Corner slots support panel fixing, and the central slots make it easier to level the frame before tightening so the finished plate sits straight.
The body is thermoplastic, so it will not corrode in humid interiors. This part is a mounting support, not a weather seal, so it should be installed behind the appropriate cover plate and in locations protected from direct washdown.

Compatibility and fit
This frame is intended for square British Standard (BS) mounting boxes. It is not meant for 60 mm round junction boxes, so it is worth confirming the box type and cutout before ordering.
Module count matters with Vimar systems. This is the 2-module support used behind an EIKON cover plate and matching EIKON modular devices, so it is a straightforward fit when the installation is built around a 2-module EIKON layout.
Installation and setup
Mount the frame to the BS box using the supplied screws, then use the central slots to level it before final tightening. If you are mounting through a panel, the corner slots give additional fixing points so the support stays stable when the vessel is vibrating or underway.
Leave enough room for wire routing and service access behind the box, and avoid overtightening fasteners so the frame stays flat and the cover plate seats cleanly.
Use on board
This part is a common fit on yachts and cruisers using Vimar EIKON switching, especially for clean interior installations at the nav station, in cabins, or in a helm console where the layout is based on British Standard boxes.
It is a good match for refits where you are standardizing the look of switches and outlets while keeping the mounting hardware consistent across compartments.
Maintenance and care
In high-vibration areas, it is normal to re-check fasteners after the first few outings. If a cover plate is removed for service, inspect that the frame is still level before reassembly so the finished fit stays flush.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
