Compatibility and fit

Made for GPSMAP 7x3 Series units, including GPSMAP 723, 723xsv, 743, and 743xsv. It is intended for these models’ case and mounting points, so it will not interchange with bail mounts built for other GPSMAP sizes or series.

Installation and setup

Plan the mounting location so the unit can tilt without hitting a windshield frame, grab rail, or electronics box lip, and so cables can be routed with a clean bend radius behind the unit. On cored fiberglass, drill and seal the holes properly to protect the core. On thin panels, a backing plate or large washers helps spread load and reduce vibration over time.
