Overview
The Garmin 010-11051-20 is a low-profile thru-hull smart transducer with a plastic housing that outputs depth, speed-through-water, water temperature, and boat attitude data (heel/trim and pitch/roll) over NMEA 2000. It operates at 235 kHz with 100 W power, uses a 10 x 44 degree beam, and provides depth readings to 330 ft.
Speed data updates at 5 Hz (five times per second) for smoother readouts at the helm. Built-in Bluetooth connects to the Airmar CAST app for offsets and calibration without needing to pull out a laptop.
This is the 0 degree model and it fits a 2-inch (51 mm) thru-hull cutout. It accommodates hull deadrise angles up to 22 degrees, with best performance on lower-deadrise installations.

Compatibility and fit
This transducer is meant for an NMEA 2000 network and shows up as a network sensor for depth, speed, temperature, and attitude data. It is an instrument multisensor and does not replace a dedicated sonar or fishfinder transducer.
The plastic housing is suited to fiberglass or metal hulls. Avoid installing a plastic housing in a wood hull where swelling can stress the fitting.
Installation and setup
Plan the mounting spot where water flow stays clean and the unit remains continuously immersed. Keep it clear of intakes, discharge outlets, strakes, steps, and other hull features that introduce bubbles or turbulence, and make sure the depth beam is not blocked by keel or running gear.
Orient the insert so the arrow points forward toward the bow, seal the housing with a below-waterline marine sealant, and check for leaks right after launch. The retractable insert and housing valve make it possible to service the paddlewheel without hauling, but the insert or a blanking plug still needs to be fully seated and secured for a watertight seal.
Calibration and data output
Bluetooth setup and calibration are handled through the Airmar CAST app. For pairing and adjustments, plan on having your phone or tablet within about 5 m (16 ft) of the sensor location.
Maintenance and care
In salt water, coat surfaces exposed to seawater with a water-based antifouling made for transducers and refresh it at least seasonally. Keep solvents and ketone-based paints away from the sensor face and plastic parts, and periodically inspect and lubricate O-rings when removing or reinstalling the insert.
Use on board
This unit makes sense for sailboats that want heel and trim data tied to speed-through-water calibration, and for powerboats that prefer a single clean thru-hull for depth, speed, and temperature. It is also a practical fit for refits where you want one 2-inch hole to cover multiple instrument feeds.

If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
