Overview

The Vimar VM14626 is a Plana 1-module mounting frame with screws for panel mounting. It is the support piece that holds a single Plana modular device in place behind the faceplate so the module sits straight and stays secure when the panel is used every day.

This frame mounts with screws and the module inserts from the front side, which keeps service simple when you need to swap a switch or outlet without pulling the whole panel apart. It can be installed in either horizontal or vertical orientation and uses a thermoplastic body.

Key features
  • Plana 1-module mounting frame for panel installations
  • Screw-mounted support with included screws for a solid hold behind a helm, cabin, or utility panel
  • Front-side insertion for the module, so access stays straightforward during refits and troubleshooting
  • Works in horizontal or vertical orientation, depending on your panel layout
  • Thermoplastic construction that holds its shape and does not corrode in humid onboard spaces
  • Not suitable for 60 mm round junction boxes, DIN-rail mounting, wall duct mounting, or floor box mounting
  • No built-in installation box, intended to be used with an appropriate panel-mount back box or enclosure
What’s included
  • 1-module mounting frame

Compatibility and fit

This support frame is made for Vimar Plana modular domestic switching devices in a 1-module format. It is meant for flush-style panel installations where the module is retained by the frame and finished with the matching Plana cover plate.

It is not intended for round 60 mm boxes or for installations that rely on DIN rail, wall ducts, or floor boxes. Plan for a suitable rear enclosure or back box behind the panel when the wiring needs protection and strain relief.

Installation and setup

Position the frame behind the panel opening, align it for the chosen orientation, and secure it with the screws. Insert the Plana module from the front side and confirm the device sits flat before fitting the faceplate.

On boats, take a moment to support the wiring so vibration does not work the conductors loose over time. Keep bends gentle, avoid pulling on the module terminals, and avoid over-tightening fasteners against plastic parts.

Use on board

This frame is commonly used when building a clean, modular switch bank at the helm, adding control points in the cabin or galley, or organizing utility controls in a technical locker. It suits refits where you want consistent Plana modules across different panels without mixing mounting systems.

Maintenance and care

Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh solvents that can stress thermoplastic parts, and periodically check mounting screws in high-vibration areas.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
