Overview

The Garmin 010-12676-00 is a large portable ice fishing kit that lets you run a compatible Garmin STRIKER fishfinder or ECHOMAP combo unit on the ice with a dedicated transducer, portable power, and a carry system that keeps everything together.

The included GT10HN-IF ice transducer uses CHIRP traditional sonar with a selectable narrow beam angle from 8 to 16 degrees, which helps when you want tighter coverage for jig tracking and clean target separation under the hole. The kit uses a sealed, lead-acid 12 Ah battery and is rated for up to 11 hours of runtime depending on conditions and screen settings.

With a device installed, the assembled kit footprint is 12.25 in. x 14.45 in. x 10 in., and the case is sized to carry larger displays up to 9 inches along with the wiring and accessories.

Key features
  • Carry case sized for larger compatible Garmin STRIKER or ECHOMAP units up to 9 inches, with built-in cable storage and management
  • GT10HN-IF CHIRP ice transducer with selectable 8 to 16 degree beam angle for precise returns under the hole
  • Sealed, lead-acid 12 Ah rechargeable battery with rated runtime up to 11 hours depending on temperature, backlight, and the device used
  • Battery charger included, with a typical full recharge time of about 8 to 10 hours in room-temperature conditions
  • Silicon-coated power cable stays flexible in very cold weather, which helps with routing and packing
  • Foam float and cable grommet included to help manage the transducer lead at the hole and keep your setup tidy

Compatibility and fit

This kit is meant to be paired with a compatible Garmin STRIKER fishfinder or ECHOMAP combo unit and does not include the display head. It is the large case size intended for units up to the 9-inch class, so it is a better match when you do not want to downsize your screen for winter use.

Before purchasing, confirm your display supports the GT10HN-IF transducer connection and that the included power and adapter cables match the connector style on your specific model.

Installation and setup

Charge the battery, connect the power lead to the battery terminals, and connect your display and transducer before heading out. On the ice, run the transducer cable through the foam float, set the float so the transducer hangs below the ice, and drop it into the water for a clean vertical view.

When you are moving between holes, the case and cable management keep the battery and wiring from getting tangled, which saves time and helps protect connectors from getting packed with slush.

Power and cold-weather notes

The battery is a sealed lead-acid type, and cold temperatures can shorten runtime compared to mild conditions. For best results, start with a full charge, keep the battery protected from direct water exposure, and recharge after each trip rather than storing it discharged.

Use cases on board and on ice

This setup makes sense for anglers who run a Garmin STRIKER or ECHOMAP on a boat during the season and want the same menus, waypoints, and sonar behavior when the water hardens. It is also useful when you fish from multiple boats and want a portable sonar system you can move without rewiring a new power source every time.

Maintenance and care

If the kit sees saltwater spray during shoulder seasons, wipe down the case, dry the connectors before packing, and keep cable ends capped or protected to reduce corrosion. Store the kit in a cool, dry place and avoid leaving the battery on continuous charge when the season is over.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
