Overview
The Vimar VM10736 is a 2-module self-bearing cover plate for 3-module flush mounting boxes in the LINEA Classica range, finished in a matte ivory-white tone close to RAL 9003. The front measures 120 x 76 mm and it sits flush when paired with the correct box and Vimar mechanisms.
This plate is rated IP00, so it does not add water sealing. On board, it belongs in dry, protected locations such as cabin panels, nav stations, sheltered helm consoles, and interior bulkheads where you want a clean finish around your switching and outlets.
Key features
- Made from halogen-free thermoplastic resin with a matt, untreated surface finish.
- Fits 3-module flush mounting boxes while using a 2-module layout in horizontal orientation (1 module in vertical orientation).
- Mounts either horizontally or vertically to match panel layout and labeling preference.
- Face size 120 x 76 mm, with matching built-in dimensions for a tidy edge-to-edge fit.
- Includes a label space to keep circuits and functions clearly identified.
- IP00 protection level, so the cover plate is intended for dry interiors rather than exposed spray zones.
- Suitable for built-in installations, wall duct setups, and subfloor installation duct boxes where these systems are used.
Compatibility and fit
This is a finishing plate for Vimar LINEA Classica installations that use 3-module flush mounting boxes and compatible inserts. It is commonly used where the box footprint is 3 modules, but the visible plate is set up for a 2-module arrangement when mounted horizontally. Confirm your box format and the module layout of your devices before ordering, especially on refits where older frames and module standards can be mixed.
Installation and setup
The plate installs over the mounted devices and aligns to the box and frame, then is secured in place and finished with the supplied screw covers for a clean face. Take a moment to square the box and keep device modules level before tightening so the plate sits flat and the gaps stay even around the edges.
Use on board
This plate is a good match for owners and builders who are keeping a consistent Vimar LINEA Classica look across cabin and console areas, or who are replacing a worn plate without changing the underlying box. Because it is not a sealed cover, it works best behind closed console doors, inside cabins, or anywhere the panel stays out of direct washdowns.
Maintenance and care
Wipe the surface with a soft cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can burnish a matte finish, and keep salt residue from building up around edges and fasteners in coastal use.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team.
