Overview
The Vimar VM10280 is a 1-pole, 2-way push button rated 10 A at 250 V~ with directional arrows, a central OFF position, and a 22 x 36 x 43.5 mm body.
It is a built-in (flush) control meant for Linea Classica switch panels where you need a clear up and down command without adding separate labeled buttons. On a boat, it is commonly used in protected interior locations such as cabins, saloons, and helm consoles where the switchgear is part of a modular wall plate system.
Key features
- 2-way push button with directional arrows and a center OFF position for straightforward up and down control
- Electrical rating: 10 A at 250 V~
- 3-terminal connection layout to support changeover-style control circuits
- Built-in mounting with snap-in engage fastening for clean, flush installations
- Thermoplastic construction that is halogen-free
- White, matt finish (RAL 9001 similar) to match classic Linea Classica plates and trim
- Label space on the front for clear circuit identification
Compatibility and fit
This device is part of the LINEA Classica traditional wiring system and is intended to be installed with matching Linea Classica mounting frames and cover plates. Plan for the device depth in the cavity, and leave extra room for wiring bends behind the mechanism so the module can seat fully and the snap-in engagement can lock properly.
If the location is exposed to spray, washdowns, or constant sun, install it inside a protected panel or enclosure that keeps moisture and UV off the mechanism and trim.
Installation and wiring
Use the directional arrows as the functional reference for wiring so the up and down actions match what the crew expects at the panel. Isolate power before installation, and confirm the switching requirements of the circuit being controlled. The device is rated for 250 V~; if it is being used on a 12 V or 24 V DC circuit, verify the DC switching rating for the connected load and control method.
Use on board
This push button is a good match for refits and new builds that are already standardized on Linea Classica plates and want consistent controls throughout the interior. The center OFF position helps when controlling equipment that should not be left running between directions, such as lift or shade controls that work through an appropriate controller or relay.
Maintenance and care
Wipe the front with a lightly damp cloth and avoid strong solvents that can haze the matt finish. During periodic electrical checks, confirm the module remains firmly seated in its support and that the terminals are tight, especially in areas with vibration.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
