Overview

The Vimar VM08533 is a 5-standard-module mounting frame with screws for Vimar 8000 series flush-mount installations.

It fastens to a 5-module flush mounting box and holds up to five standard modules across, keeping the inserts straight behind the cover plate so the finished panel stays neat and easy to service.

The thermoplastic frame is finished in black and supports horizontal or vertical mounting, which helps when you need to match the box orientation already built into a bulkhead or console.

Compatibility and fit

This frame is sized for the Vimar 8000 modular format and a 5-module flush mounting box. It is a good match when you are building out a multi-gang switch or outlet point in the cabin, helm, or nav area and want the modules to sit square under the cover plate.

Before ordering, confirm your back box is the 5-module style used with the 8000 system and that your cover plate is the corresponding 5-module version for the same series.

Installation and setup

Mount the frame to the flush box using the supplied screws, then load the modular inserts from the rear. Once the modules are seated and aligned, finish by fitting the cover plate for the 8000 system.

On boats, it is worth checking that the back box is solidly supported in the panel and that wiring has enough slack for service access without stressing the module terminals.
