Overview

The Garmin 010-02554-02 is a 9 inch fishfinder and GPS track plotter that supports Garmin CHIRP traditional sonar plus CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü scanning. It ships without a transducer, which keeps you free to pair the unit with the transducer style that matches your hull and the water you fish.

It uses a 9 inch WVGA color screen (800 x 480) with seven vivid sonar color palettes. With the built in high sensitivity GPS, you can mark up to 5,000 waypoints and 100 routes, and record track logs with up to 50,000 points and 50 saved tracks.

Quickdraw Contours lets you build custom maps with 1 foot contours and store up to 2 million acres. Built in Wi-Fi works with the ActiveCaptain app for waypoint transfer, smart notifications, and access to the Quickdraw Community. The housing is IPX7 water rated, and the unit measures 11.1 x 6.5 x 2.4 inches with a listed weight of 2.4 lb.

Transducer and sonar pairing

This unit does not include a transducer. Pair it with a compatible Garmin transducer that supports the sonar views you plan to use, including ClearVü and SideVü if you want scanning returns.

The included 12 pin to dual 4 pin adapter is useful when the transducer on your boat uses the older dual 4 pin connection, so you can keep existing wiring while updating the display.

Installation and setup

The tilt and swivel bracket works well for console mounting where you want to angle the screen for glare and standing operation. Leave clearance for the cable bend behind the unit and route the harness away from ignition wiring and high current DC runs to help reduce sonar noise.

Connect the supplied power and data cable to a fused, switched DC feed and keep the connection dry with a drip loop in the harness. The case handles spray and rain, but avoid aiming a pressure washer directly at the connector area.

Navigation and on-water workflow

With GPS tracking built in, it can log your runs, show speed over ground, and make it easy to return to a waypoint for a reef, wreck, or trolling pass. Quickdraw Contours is also handy on lakes, bays, and nearshore areas where you want a clearer picture of the bottom you have already covered.

This is a good match for anglers who want a larger screen with scanning sonar views and GPS waypoint marking, and for boat owners who prefer to choose a transducer that fits a transom, trolling motor, or in hull install.

We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
