Overview

The Vimar VM01875.120 is a constant-current LED driver that runs from 120 V AC, 60 Hz and supplies 350 mA, 500 mA, or 700 mA (selectable) to low-voltage LED modules and strips wired in series. Output voltage can rise as high as 50 V as it regulates current, with maximum load up to 15 W at 350 mA, 22 W at 500 mA, or 27 W at 700 mA.

It supports phase-cut dimming when used with compatible multiload MASTER dimmers, and it can also be switched on and off at full brightness using the synchronism input. The housing is IP20 and intended for protected, dry interior spaces; it is not meant for areas where it can be exposed to drips, spray, or washdowns.

Class II insulation and galvanic isolation between the mains side and the LED side help keep the installation electrically separated. The enclosure measures 224 x 60 x 36 mm and is built for screw mounting inside cabinets, behind panels, or other sheltered voids.

Key features
  • 120 V AC, 60 Hz input with selectable constant-current outputs of 350 mA, 500 mA, or 700 mA (jumpers on the secondary side).
  • Up to 50 V output with maximum load ratings of 15 W (350 mA), 22 W (500 mA), or 27 W (700 mA).
  • Dimmable with multiload MASTER dimmers configured for leading-edge control; on/off control is also possible via the synchronism input.
  • LED load connection is series-only, using dedicated + and - output terminals.
  • Built-in 1 A high-breaking-capacity fuse, plus thermal, short-circuit, and overload protection.
  • IP20, internal-use construction with Class II insulation and 4 kVrms galvanic isolation between primary and secondary.
  • Standby consumption under 0.5 W and active PFC (power factor up to 0.94 at full load).
  • Operating temperature range: -5 C to +45 C (indoor).
  • 224 x 60 x 36 mm body with screw fixing and terminal layout for L, N, synchronism (S), and LED output.
Compatibility and fit

This driver is meant for constant-current LED loads that are rated for 350 mA, 500 mA, or 700 mA. Because the output is current-regulated rather than a fixed 12 V or 24 V, it should be paired with LED modules or strips specified for one of those currents and intended to be wired in series.

Total LED load needs to stay within the wattage limit for the selected current setting. The 50 V maximum output also sets the upper limit for how many LEDs can be placed in a single series string.

Installation and setup

Mount the unit in a dry, sheltered location with space around it for ventilation. Keep it out of areas that see condensation, drips, spray, or washdowns.

Select the required output current using the on-board jumpers before applying mains power. Wire 120 V AC supply to the L and N terminals, and connect the LED load to the + and - terminals, keeping the LED modules in series as required for constant-current operation.

Electrical and control integration

For dimming, the synchronism terminal is used with compatible multiload MASTER dimmers set for leading-edge control. A single master dimmer can control up to 10 power supplies, with up to 100 m of cable from the control device to the last driver in the run.

On the LED side, the recommended maximum cable length to the LED modules is 10 m when using 1.5 mm2 conductors. For simple on/off control at full brightness, a switch can be wired between phase and the synchronism input.

Use on board

This driver fits boats that have a 120 V AC distribution from shore power, a generator, or an inverter and need a constant-current supply for interior LED modules. It works well behind cabin headliners, inside joinery, and in other protected spaces powering salon, stateroom, or accent lighting zones where phase-cut dimming is part of the control plan.

If your lighting project lives in damp lockers, engine spaces, or exposed deck areas, plan on a sealed driver rated for that environment. This model is for protected interior installs where IP20 construction is appropriate.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
