Overview
The Vimar VM01643 is a 75 ohm IEC Ø 9.5 mm coaxial TV socket outlet with axial cable entry in an ivory finish.
It gives you a clean, serviceable female TV coax connection point on an RG59 run, which is common when routing an antenna feed to a television or splitter on board. The axial entry keeps the cable coming straight out of the connector, which helps when you are dressing coax inside a locker, behind joinery, or inside a small electrical box.
Insulated mounting adds a layer of separation from nearby metalwork, but it is still good practice to mount it where it stays dry and where the coax can be supported so vibration does not work the cable loose over time.
Key features
- IEC Ø 9.5 mm female coaxial TV socket outlet
- 75 ohm impedance for standard TV signal distribution
- Axial cable entry for a straight, in-line cable exit
- RG59 cable type compatibility
- Insulated mounting
- Ivory finish for a clean, traditional look in interiors
Compatibility and fit
This outlet is meant for TV coax systems that use IEC Ø 9.5 mm connections and 75 ohm cabling. It is a good match when the rest of the run is RG59 and you need a female socket endpoint for a TV lead, an extension lead, or a distribution component that expects an IEC plug connection.
Installation and setup
Plan for the axial cable exit and leave enough clearance so the coax is not forced into a sharp bend right at the connector. When preparing RG59, take care to keep the braid and foil tidy and to avoid nicking the center conductor. On boats, add strain relief to the cable nearby and keep the connection away from bilges, condensation drip paths, and washdown zones unless it is housed inside an appropriate enclosure.
Use on board
This part fits well on boats that run a shore or masthead antenna feed to TVs in the saloon and cabins and want a simple, serviceable coax socket inside the interior. It is also handy for refits where you are cleaning up older coax terminations and want a consistent IEC-style endpoint.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
