Volvo Penta developed a long hub propeller that can provide high speed and features more blade area in the propeller than standard propellers. The long hub propellers provide outstanding performance and perfectly matched propellers for 200 to 290 SP drive. The large blade area also provides quicker and safer dockside maneuvering. The precise balancing is a special feature of these long hub propellers, for heavily-loaded boats can glide more quickly and for fast boats increased in speed. The propeller is applicable for V6, V8, AQD40, and AQAD31/40/41 engines. Hub information: Long hub propellers need an internally threaded propeller shaft for the cone locking screw in the drive.
