Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 1522 is a 12V DC control panel for two bilge pumps, with a compact 4.75 in. by 4.88 in. face size that fits neatly into a helm or electrical panel layout. It brings manual control, circuit protection, and status indication together in one place, which is useful when you want both pump circuits easy to reach and easy to check.
Each pump circuit has its own restricted-off breaker and its own rocker switch. The indicator light shows when power is available at the float switch, and it also lights when the pump is running as a result of float switch operation. On boats with separate forward and aft bilge areas, or a primary pump and a backup pump, that makes it easier to see what each circuit is doing without tracing wiring below deck.
Key features
- Controls two bilge pump circuits from one 12V DC panel
- Uses two restricted-off circuit breakers to keep the float switch circuits protected around the clock
- Includes manual override rocker switches for direct pump control when needed
- LED indication shows power at the float switch and also shows when a pump is running
- Compact panel size suits tighter dash and switch panel spaces
Installation and setup
This panel suits installations that already use automatic float switches and need a clean control point for manual override. The separate controls make sense when the boat has two independent bilge areas or two pumps with different jobs in the same bilge space. Because the panel is small, it is easier to place in a console, cabin switch area, or another protected location where pump status should stay visible.
For a proper fit, check that your boat is wired as a 12V DC system and that each pump circuit is appropriate for the included 10A breaker setup. This panel is a practical match when you want separate control and protection for each pump instead of combining both pumps on a single switch arrangement.
What’s included
- Two A-Series Restricted Off Flat Rocker circuit breakers, single pole, 10A, part number 7427
- Two rocker switches, SPST ON-OFF, part number 7480

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
