Overview
The Jabsco 436977 is a magnetic drive centrifugal pump for 110V AC 60Hz systems that need steady, continuous circulation on board. It uses 1/2 inch NPT ports and moves around 11 GPM, with shutoff head up to about 18 feet, which suits closed-loop and recirculation jobs where a compact AC pump is a better fit than a 12V or 24V unit.
The magnetic coupling keeps the wet end separated from the motor side, which helps where a conventional seal leak would be a concern. The pump head is entirely non-metallic and built around chemical-resistant thermoplastics, with a PP encapsulated magnet, PPS spindle housing, alumina ceramic spindle, and EPDM O-ring.
On a boat, this pump fits jobs such as marine air conditioning circulation, ice makers, hot water recirculation, livewell systems, and bait tank plumbing. It is intended for clean fluids and continuous operation, not for dry running or pulling water up from an empty line.
Key features
- 110V AC 60Hz pump for boats with shore power, inverter support, or generator-fed AC circuits
- Magnetic drive layout for leak-free circulation without a conventional shaft seal at the wet end
- Around 11 GPM open flow with shutoff head up to about 18 feet
- 1/2 inch NPT threaded ports for straightforward integration with common marine plumbing adapters
- IPX5 motor housing with thermal protection and fan cooling for machinery spaces and utility compartments
- Non-metallic pump head with chemical-resistant thermoplastics, PP housing, PPS spindle housing, alumina ceramic spindle, and EPDM O-ring
- UL-listed version with deep groove ball bearings for continuous-duty service
Compatibility and fit
This pump is a good match for boats that already have a 110V AC supply and need circulation rather than high suction lift. Overall size is about 8.4 inches long, 4.0 inches wide, and 5.6 inches high, with weight around 2.7 kg, so it fits well in dedicated pump spaces near an A/C loop, water heater circuit, or livewell plumbing run.
The 1/2 inch NPT ports matter when you are replacing an older circulation pump or tying into an existing threaded manifold. Before ordering, check that your system voltage is 110V AC 60Hz, the plumbing connection is set up for 1/2 inch NPT, and the application calls for clean circulating fluid rather than a self-priming transfer pump.
Installation and setup
Mount the unit in a dry, ventilated location. It is not self-priming and it should not be run dry, so the inlet should be fed from a flooded source or placed so the pump stays primed during normal use. If the pump is mounted vertically, the motor should sit below the pump head.
This model makes sense for owners replacing a compact AC circulation pump in a marine HVAC, hot water, or livewell setup and who want a non-metallic wet end for corrosion-sensitive duty. It is less suited to dirty water service, raw water with debris, or systems that depend on strong suction lift from an empty line.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
