Overview

The Raymarine E70640 is a YachtSense Link marine mobile router that brings 4G LTE, dock Wi-Fi, onboard Wi-Fi, RayNet Ethernet, GNSS positioning, and digital input/output channels into one onboard communications hub. It is made for boats that need a shared network for Axiom displays, tablets, phones, PCs, smart TVs, and other connected equipment while moving between the slip, coastal passages, fishing runs, and time at anchor.

The unit runs from an 8 V dc to 32 V dc supply range for 12 V and 24 V vessel systems, with 4 RayNet network ports and a SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 connection for integration with Raymarine electronics. It can use cellular, external Wi-Fi, or a wired WAN connection for internet access, then route that connection to devices on its Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.

Its housing is rated IPx6 and IPx7, with an operating temperature range from -25 degrees C to +55 degrees C. At 242.00 mm x 162.20 mm x 63.00 mm and 1.03 kg, it fits where a fixed network device belongs, such as a protected electronics area, helm console, or equipment locker with proper cable routing and ventilation.

Key features
  • 4G LTE marine router with mobile broadband support, marina Wi-Fi connection, onboard Wi-Fi, wired WAN, RayNet Ethernet, and GNSS positioning.
  • Dual Micro-SIM card slots help support cellular service plans when cruising across different coverage areas.
  • 4 RayNet network ports allow direct network connection to compatible Raymarine devices.
  • SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 connection supports integration with marine instrument and navigation networks.
  • 4 digital input channels support onboard monitoring, and 4 digital output channels rated at 200 mA support low-voltage device control.
  • GeoFence monitoring and low power mode support remote vessel awareness through the Raymarine mobile app, with subscription requirements where applicable.
  • IPx6 and IPx7 ingress protection, shock and vibration resistance, and a -25 degrees C to +55 degrees C operating range suit fixed installation on boats.
Installation and setup

Setup can be handled through a web browser or a compatible Axiom display running LightHouse 4 version 4.0 or later. The router includes a web browser interface for configuration, so network settings, Wi-Fi access, and system behavior can be managed without removing the unit after installation.

The supplied 5-in-1 antenna handles GNSS, cellular, diversity, and dock WLAN functions with 5 m cables, which helps place the antenna where reception is more useful while keeping the router in a protected electronics location. The two supplied dipole antennas serve the onboard Wi-Fi network.

Connectivity and system integration

YachtSense Link works as the connection point between shore-side internet sources, cellular service, and the boat network. It can connect to dock WLAN on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, while the boat Wi-Fi access point operates on 2.4 GHz for onboard devices.

For Raymarine systems, the combination of RayNet ports and SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 support makes it useful on boats already running Axiom displays and connected instrumentation. It can also share internet access to Ethernet and Wi-Fi clients, which is helpful for chart updates, mobile devices, and networked equipment that needs online access while onboard.

Remote monitoring and onboard control

When paired with the Raymarine mobile app, the router supports remote access features such as vessel GeoFence alerts, viewing real-time instrument and navigation data, display mirroring, file transfers, LightHouse chart transfers, and control of registered digital switching input and output channels.

The digital channels are suited to low-voltage monitoring and control tasks such as checking device status or controlling supported onboard circuits. For higher-load equipment, installation should follow the vessel wiring plan and use proper switching hardware rather than treating the router outputs as direct power feeds.

Electrical and environmental fit

The 8 V dc to 32 V dc operating voltage range gives it room for typical 12 V and 24 V battery systems, including normal voltage variation during charging and engine operation. The supplied power cable includes an 8 A fitted fuse, which should be kept in the installation unless the vessel design requires equivalent circuit protection.

This router is a practical fit for owners who want a fixed communications and monitoring hub rather than a loose portable hotspot at the helm. It makes the most sense on boats with Raymarine networking already onboard, or on vessels where remote monitoring, mobile broadband, and a more organized onboard Wi-Fi network are part of the electronics plan.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
