Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 2500 Series Terminal Block is a closed-back 30A terminal block range for organizing independent circuits in marine electrical systems. Each screw pair is isolated, so conductors can be kept separate unless jumpers are added to create common circuits.
This terminal block family is offered from 2 to 12 circuits and is rated for 30A continuous service with a maximum voltage rating of 600V AC/DC. The closed-back base helps insulate the live connections from the mounting surface, which is useful when the block is installed behind a distribution panel, inside a console, under a helm, or in another protected electrical area on board.
Key features
- Closed-back construction insulates the electrical path from the mounting surface.
- Each screw pair functions as one isolated circuit for clean separation of conductors.
- 30A continuous rating for branch-circuit termination work within the system limits.
- Maximum voltage rating of 600V AC/DC for broad marine electrical use within the stated rating.
- Nickel-plated brass bus material and stainless steel screws suit protected onboard electrical installations.
- UL 94 V0 PC base material supports safer use in enclosed electrical spaces.
- M4 terminal screws accept #8 M4 wire terminals, with 10 in-lb screw terminal torque.
- Optional 9217 jumpers can be used when adjacent independent circuits need to be made common.
Variants
This range varies by circuit count, with configurations for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 independent circuits. The main selection point is how many separate termination pairs are needed in the panel, console, electronics area, or equipment compartment.
The 30A rating, closed-back style, independent screw-pair layout, M4 terminal screws, #10 M5 mounting screw size, nickel-plated brass bus material, stainless steel screw material, and 9217 jumper compatibility remain consistent across the listed circuit options. Longer versions provide more termination points while using the same terminal block format.
Installation and fit
Select the circuit count based on the number of conductors that need organized termination, leaving enough room for future service access and clear labeling. The block mounts with #10 M5 screws, so the mounting surface should be flat, secure, and located where the terminals stay protected from direct spray, standing water, and accidental contact.
Use the stated 10 in-lb terminal screw torque and properly sized #8 M4 terminals. As with any onboard electrical work, circuit protection, wire sizing, and conductor routing should match the load, the vessel layout, and the applicable marine electrical practices.
Use on board
This terminal block is a practical fit for refits, helm wiring cleanup, electronics installations, and distribution panel work where several small circuits need a secure termination point. Because each circuit is independent, it works well when the installer needs separation rather than a shared bus, with the option to add jumpers where a common connection is required.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
